JUST FYI for everyone. Your insurance will NOT be that cheap if you get true full coverage... There is "full coverage" available for that range BUT you will not have uninsured/underinsured motoriest, or any medical payments if you are injured... It typically wont cover any aftermarket parts or gear either. JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT. MKE you should check your coverage... and talk to your broker... The biggest fear of being in a accident is getting hurt, missing work, disabling yourself in some way... and if you leave off these coverages you ARE at a very great risk.

Yeah my coverage is true full! I have it set at 10k for medical and 25k for underinsured/uninsured. I also have tow included as well!

@@mkecarconnection3808 mine is also true full coverage. the coverage is a quite a bit more than your and cost me $237 annually. not sure if it's state and/or year a person is motorcycle endorsed. I have been riding since I first got my license with a clean driving record. I'm not near 50 and I also carry a CDL license.

This was a very accurate video on the costs for a 400, I loved my 400 and it was pretty much spot on - I got it new from dealership. Just upgraded to a zx6r and it about doubles the cost of everything you've mentioned.

I have a 2022 KRT one. Got it brand new from the dealership. I thought I was going to regret not buying a MT07 as my first bike, but it turns out it suits me very well, damn good bike and I learned a good deal with it. But I do think I should move to a naked bike (I have an injuried lower back) so the MT07 will surely be my next bike.

Thought about officially getting rid of my gaming set up and buying a grown up toy. I’m just stuck on 300-400 or 600 bike. Uncle started on a 600 and said he completely recommends it but their prices can be steep

I had a 2020 I THINK and the clutch always burnt out . I wasn’t burning it though. Fun bike. I’m getting a Yamaha r6 probably some time next year

So I think I’m gonna get the 400 but I live like a mile down a dirt road. I’ve looked at adventure bikes but they just don’t got what I’m looking for. You think it’s worth to get one with the dirt road issue? This would be my first bike btw.

No maintenance costs? Tyres? oil? brake pads? chain? spark plug?

I haven't had to do any of that to it yet really. Just an oil change which I did for about 30 bucks and another 20 for chain cleaner and lube

spark plugs are like a couples bucks, tires are maybe 300 or so, brake pads are pretty cheap like $60 total for oem pads, maybe even lower.

i'm sure not all dealerships are like this but i tried the same thing and they said they won't finance for anything less than 5k so where im at you can only put 1k down if you plan to finance.

Y not just buy a older ninja 400 u might be able to get one for 3-4k, but it’s ur money I can’t tell u what to do
