@@margaritagaona yea one thing I disliked the most is how toxic the environment was becomes because if your not the manager or team leader then most of the time you won’t be satisfied they overwork the others . gossip has become a big problem over the years at almost every job especially dental assisting. If you do research dental has become one of the biggest quitting jobs at the moment there was riot a couple months back on the news

Hello, :) the process of becoming a dental assistant is easy. You only need certain certificates to be able to become a RDA. The pay ranges from state, but I would say roughly around 17-30 an hour depending on experience.

Great question, I believe that being a travel dental assisting can be sometimes difficult because because you are traveling to multiple offices and providing services with the dentist/ os etc. It is difficult to find a position that does this. In terms of finding a job for these positions I would consider princess dental or direct dental, you can apply and be a temp assistant at offices.

Hey josh, good question. The dental field is dominated by women. It is a very interesting field when it comes to being a male. It depends on the type of people you work with. My best advice to you is if you are trying to pursue dental assisting be prepared for a world full of chaos. It can become a stressful career if you work with doctors that do not respect assistants. Patience, organization is key to enjoying the field. I can not speak for a male perspective however I have a few male friends who pursued this career. One of my male friend struggled through depression because of this field, however my other male friend got lucky and found himself a good office that treats him well, he’s been working in that office for 6 years and he loves it. The program tuition varies from institute. Some programs are offered through high school ROP, community college and trade schools.
