Man, it hurts a lot seeing this as i did the same thing with Brave Frontier a while ago...granted my expenditure was greatly lower but goddamn i know what it feels seeing the money you spent on a game laid out in PAGES.

All things considered, when I first found out how much I had spent on steam tf2 and csgo cases, It hit me really hard on what I had actually done and how much money I had wasted in comparison to the money I had recieved. That was my wakeup call. Spending $60 to $80 every 3 months when I could be buying much better games for that price.

Genuinely surprised at how much you've spent on Hearthstone since 2017, that's over double what I've spent on League in the nearly 10 years I've been playing it, although I guess it's better for you since you play this game for a living and make money from playing it, you can afford to spend a little here and there, I can't exactly say the same about me and League. Riot Games has a site that straight up tells you how much money you've spent since transferring to your current server, I joined the OCE server back in 2013 when it entered Beta because playing on the constant 250 ping on NA was annoying and since then I've spent $3545AUD on League which Google tells me is around $2468US.

One (Business) customer spent the equivalent of 100 AAA games on one game. Yeah, for all the critic and shit we give these large corpos, looking at the numbers... You can at the least get what goes through their heads.

And this is why I refuse to pay for loot boxes of a sort when it comes to these kinds of things, electronic games especially. I used to buy a lot of MTG cards (physical) but now it's a very infrequent gifting between my brother and dad and I as a fun thing, maybe once or twice yearly. There's a temptation but it's way too rich for my blood when it comes down to it, anymore.

Went to my purchase history, inspired by you. I am playing since BRM - may 2015. I have 100% collection, but no golden decks :) and I've spent... 2218 euros, which is rn 2310 usd, but was actually more during the earlier years. That is roughly 85 cents a day, which is quite a lot for a free game :) but I still enjoy it quite a bit. Thanks for the math inspiration.

It always surpises me that people are confused on the amount of money people spend for the cards. Its a card game, you will be spending money often and a decent amount to have a full collection, and its far cheaper than most real life TCGs like pokemon to gain a full collection.
