I just got my first life insurance lately. I researched first since a lot of products are in the market and I looked for perfevt fit for my needs. I signed up for BTID, rewable every year but same price for 5 years. I only have 1 dependent, my father. Thanks for this new learning Sir Rex! More power!

It depends on your reason for buying the insurance, life insurance lang ba gusto mo or meron health, disability, or accident insurance? That will determine the best insurance for you. i registered sir in G-insure/Singlife. But i notice dun sa terms and conditions nila na up to 65 yrs old lang ung cover nila. So what will happen to the funds after 65 yrs old ko and di ko sya nagamit?

Di po ako sure sa exact terms and conditions ng nabanggit mo pong product/s pero baka ibig sabihin po is hanggang 65 years old lang po yung pwede bumili ng insurance. If it's whole life insurance, ibig sabihin nun covered ka na po for life kahit lumagpas ka ng 65, yung mga lagpas lang ng 65 yung di pwede bumili. Pero if term-to-65 nakalagay, that means hanggang 65 lang talaga yung coverage. Pag ganun po, wala na kayong matatanggap na kahit ano if namatay kayo after 65. Pero i think bihira yung term-to-65 product na diretso? Yung mga nakita ko na term products ay renewable sya every few years (usually 5 years) until age 65.

Parang term insurance ang g-insure kaya up to 65 yrs old lang at walang naiipon na funds. If you want I can provide other options that could cover you to a longer period even up to age 100 and may funds parin na makukuha sakaling walang nangyari.
