great inventory!! you finished a lot of items I was surprised your collection grew, but its a good reminder that using things up is just half the challenge limiting how much comes in

You've made me realize I'm doing incredible well in almost all categories, and incredible poorly in eyeshadows and lip products. Just because I can pan a lip gloss, doesn't mean I need to buy even more! Brain please

SAME! These dang sparkly products have us in their grips. I almost caved for the holographic fenty gloss this past holiday, after doing this inventory in VERY glad I skipped 😳 And I need to start wearing lipstick more 🥲

Your collection feels so small to me, I have double or triple in most categories (except just one foundation/concealer). I track each use of everything in a spreadsheet though so I make sure I use everything each year. 😊

Its all about personal comfort, I don't think there's a right or wrong size collection, as long as you enjoy what you own in any capacity (sometimes owning, and just looking at products can bring joy!) Oh my goodness, you track EVERYTHINGS usage!?! That's a realm I dream about getting to, but the eyeshadow tracking alone is sometimes a bit much 😅 Do you use it as a tool to see what you're not using?

@lauraforce it takes me about 45 seconds each day to pull up the google sheet on my phone and update the number next to each product before putting them all away. It is so helpful to see that I have worn something like 7 times ever and not at all in the last year so probably good to declutter. And since I keep date purchased and $ info I always shoot for less than $1/use for products (easier on a $6 concealer than my pat mcgrath palette haha), and I have goals such as "use all blushes 10 times" which makes things fun.

Blush can be so trendy and want to get the new cool one, I totally get it! I'm trying to convince myself I don't need a new blush, but who keeps looking at blush palettes online 🙋‍♀️

Thank you so much! I've worked hard to get my collection to where it is today, there's areas I still feel are inflated for my personal comfort level, but then there are areas where I feel like I need a few more items to make me feel more excited for what I have 😅

Good Luminous bronzer option jcat baked bronzer. I just tried it and it's so pretty on the skin. You're doing so well in your totals! Plus seeing all the pans in your collection is so awesome! 🎉

I love the nabla bronzer in the shade ambra, but the ulta brand bronzer in their little baked circle face palette thing is so pretty and luminous too. My fav nude blush right now is by essence actually it’s “the blush” and I think it’s shade 10 - befitting.

Oooh, the nabla Bronzer have definitely been living in my brain, but I don't know why I can't bring myself to buy one. My brain block 😂 I try not to sleep on Ulta brand products either, I LOOOOOOVE so many things I've tried, too! I think I talk myself out of Bronzer as quickly as I talk myself into it 😅 Oooh, essence the blushes are always talked about! I need to just order a few shades and see how I feel! I may have made a purchase that included a few Bronzer 🙈 so i will need to put myself on a buy ban until I use some of them up 😬😬

Thank you so much! This has been my go to type look using the red in the Project Level Up! I've been LOVING layering deeper based & red based multichromes on top, it makes it way less elder emo and more glammed up 🤣

I feel the exact same way about bronzer but I can't get a new one till I pan one so it will be a while yet. I like the tarte park avenue princess one its a glowy bronzer and really pretty on the skin and a good tone. I have been on a lipstick no buy for a long time. Same with blush on a no buy again. So purchases made last year were minimal in both. I have different goals for all my categories and I keep loose track of it so things don't suddenly jump.

Bronzer is a part I used to love, now I'm just underwhelmed anymore... and I think project panning Bronzer made us realize how long a Bronzer does take 😂 Kind of miss the butter Bronzer, kind of want to try something new. I'm thinking of frankening a Bronzer and highlight to see if I can do something there...

@@lauraforce More I think I have like 25. But I reduced that number through giving to friends, I had to toss a couple and declutter a few. I learned what looks good on me. My gloss lip balm numbers where your lipstick number is.
