I'm confused, you mentioned that the NARS colour corrector would have been used more if it weren't finished, but on camera it seems like there is still a lot of product? Either way, I love tracking videos like these. I too have been tracking all of my use this year, and it's very eye-opening! It's nice that your favourites are reflected here

Oh the product inside the NARS container is actually a different product. I couldn't get anything out of the wet n Wild Primer I mentioned putted into the container for ease of use

I still can't believe how much progress I made the past month on my PTP! There will come a time where the goals just stop happening left and right. I feel it coming soon, so I'm just enjoying it while I can (im also trying to be more strategic with shades I roll in (i feel like it's mainly those soft mattes with shimmers im blowing through!) Channeling all the pretty flowers to come soon to our rainy states 🌦

Rock on! You did great. I feel super inspired to go play with my makeup. I’m not sure why I haven’t seen any of your other videos for this project but I love this idea! I have tried to use a monthly BYOP but either the inspiration fades quickly or I build something way too big and feel overwhelmed right away. 9 pans seems super approachable. And that bedazzled cover is everything! Keep up the great work and you look beautiful ❤

What about using a makeup eraser to @@effrayechilde1363 lightly buff it off your skin? That way it helps remove some product and isn't as annoying to manually do it with just your hands and water

Last year, I got the blend bunny surge palette and Sephora lippie in Margs for my birthday and the Clinique perfume mini sampler for mother's day. Also, got some replacement skincare products like face wash and moisturizer.

Honestly, I don’t remember what I bought this time last year 😅 all I remember is that I chose the Ouai set for my Sephora birthday gift and loved the scents of the products. The Melrose Place fragrance is still on my wishlist because of that gift 😉

It's not perfect by any means, there are days where I wrote "cannot remember" and just carry on. But if it's kind of sure opening to look at products I think I don't absolutely lvoe getting so much use. Some is from trying to pan them out, but it's just eye opening. I really enjoyed seeing what products I've been gravitating towards (even if it's pretty nerdy of me to write every day out 🤓)

Oooo love that you hit pan WITH THIS LOOK! Thats so exciting. Now my question is. Do you need to use it one more time or does the pan trump the usage?

RIGHT!? I couldn't believe I hit pan. I cannot stress enough how maliable and squishy this shimmer is, though. I do typically find it easy to hit pan on indie shades when they have this formula. I still need to use it one more time to consider both goals met. Each shade has to be used the number of times (corresponding with the level you're on) and the pans in the palette. I'm just lucky the shimmers are easier for me to pan because those mattes haven't budged 😅 Some palettes have waaay more overall use making goals easier to hit, but the usage goal keeps you having to reach for it, which is kind of nice. No shade gets neglected this way!

I've been tracking my use on every single item in my collection except mascara since November!! It helps me remember what I used for looks and helps me write my caption for IG. I go one step further and put it all in an excel sheet so I can see the numbers for each product organized by category!

My Fenty Eaze drops do settle when I leave them standing. With my phone flash I can see the shadow of the product through the packaging.

@eggsterminate 🤣🤣 the shade may have something to do with it, I've left mine standing for a week at before january so I could mark my foundation levels like a lunatic 😅 But I can squeeze the container pretty aggressively while it's open and up and only air comes out for a while. I know there's progress in there, just no idea how much 😅 Apart from setting the packaging in hot water to try to "settle it" to the bottom

For me I think my year has been a win so far. I have eliminated my samples basically the few I have have been acquired recently I picked to try. Same with deluxe sized anything. Lots of lingering old skincare has been knocked out I put them in my two projects and they are gone. That has been satisfying. Perfume and lip glosses/ balms are doing great. Makeup wise its been harder but I have made such good progress I can't be mad I am just hella ambitious so its taking forever to see things move. I am aiming for 4 out for April and if I am ambitious maybe 6 goals hit we shall see how it goes. Some of my goals are just pan and but most are to finish. I feel like I am starting to hit my stride but some things you just can't rush. I wish makeup was as easy to pan as skincare. I think you could really knock out some of your items now that you are focusing on certain things.

Yaaas! You got rid of your sample category while I was out there gathering it up 😂😂 so many GWP minis have come into my life! Isn't it SO nice to get rid of lingering skin and hair care?! I'm good about skincare now, but my haircare 😳 What item made you feel the most accomplished finishing this year so far?? You're doing incredible with so many categories, I know it's easier said than done, but don't beat yourself up over the makeup! I need to actually take my own advice, too 😅 Honestly any progress you're doing/ making, is just one step closer to finishing! It sticks though when you want to plow through things! I am struggling, too. But I am finding a little comfort knowing I'm not solely focusing on my project pan items like I was in years past. I am actually trying to use my collection and see what I'm gravitating towards naturally, the days I n need my "monotonous makeup" are usually my project pan days, otherwise I'm trying to let myself actually enjoy things rather than hyperfocusing. So maybe you're just riding the same wave this year 🌊

@@lauraforce I am working on 3 eyeshadows to finish which for me is unheard of. I want to knock out two from my pan that quad 2023 and I decluttered the rest. That is teaching me a lot. I finished the cream shade already and the brown shimmer there is still so much but I don't care how long it takes it's going to be so satisfying to finish. I am also working on a face palette and focusing on more pans and more variety and honestly the approach is making a difference. I feel like I am on that wave with you and honestly since I am not forcing myself and having more fun and letting the usage come as it may creativity is up and I am actually making my way through things too.Bottom line you want to do something for the joy of it period.
