Minimalism totally changed the way I spend money. I really question the value of anything I am buying and whether I want this item in my house. There are many questions I ask myself and so impulse spending doesn't happen anymore. I love living a minimal life where I either love or need everything I own.

Our financial way of life absolutely needs to be blown up, but at the same time, people also need to be more responsible. I know for a fact that there's a lot of people that simply don't make enough money. I make roughly 100K a year and in California, rent prices alone eat up almost 3/4 of what I make. Throw in dependents, and other financial obligations and it's easy to end up in the negative.

I am not living paycheck to paycheck but am feeling the squeeze from higher food, utilities & gasoline. I looked at my budget constantly & finally realized that I was paying too much for cable, internet & home phone & cell phones. It is a pain to have to renegotiate yearly but really saves money. I have really been spending a lot less discretionary income & creating revenue for more interest, Luckily for me my coach Frost Hilda has been using every opportunity to ensure I benefit from each turn the market trend takes. Best be prepared for what the future will be bring..

One thing you're missing about your salary is that there is an inflation adjustment each year on top of the increase in salary for your PGY level. The listed salaries are for the 2022-2023 year only. So for your PGY2 year you won't make $65,696 but more likely around $67,000 or so.

I was a Medical Technologist. With a degree in Medical Technology and double minor chemistry and biology. After 4.5 years college education and degree and 25 years plus experience I averaging at least half this. About $45,000.00 per year I was not a doctor or a nurse. A nurse with only about 4 years experience could possibly be making about $55,000 to $65.000 per year at my institution. And with more experience possibly more. Ultra sound tech can make $56.000 to $86,000 per year and many of these only have associates degree the high paid specialized may have full 4 year degree.

Also it will be so so so so helpful, if you can help Juniors by suggesting , what they should do in their UG's and what they should do to improve their skills, what extra they can do, so that they will get an extra edge on preparation of Usmle and a pathway to study in well reputed institute in US.!

I met two doctors, an internal med and pediatric doctor and what they told me is that Dentist make more money than doctors. Which I agree , cause they are my cousins patients.

Depends, but dentists have hella debt worse than medical school, some as high as half a million. Without interest. Higher paying specialities could ultimately make more, than a dentists like derm, surgery, ophthalmology

@@jakd2962 specialist pay more liability insurance just so you know . Medical owes more debt because of the length of time they are in school unlike regular dentist.

Sir, please make a video on the whole process of USMLE 3 steps; how to prepare for each and every step; the cost it will incur; and the minimum time one can do all the three steps in, should one get fully committed to it.

Wow the pay for residency is very low. Software engineering masters Folks make 200k+ (base + stock + bonus) right out of school. (2 years of master) 5 year experienced engineers (seniors) make anywhere from 250k- 450k.
