Hello Leah, Congratulations for this video. of course, there are the sincere and informative answers from your guests. But there is something I noticed in this video: The joy these women have. They laugh, the atmosphere is good, they can be serious, but not for too long. It is this joy of living that attracts me to the Philippines. Thank you for sharing this moment with your friends.

I do like how they seem to value the person over anything he could provide for them...& as an American who would love to have a Filipina, if I had one, & she wanted to continue in any career she chose, she could persue whatever makes her feel happy & secure in life...as an American, I believe a person has the basic human right to life, liberty & the persuit of happiness...if she's happy, she'll be willing to make me happy... I like that...that lady in the red dress is a knockout!

Being a good wife, mother and keeping a home is the most important thing a person can do. A good husband will protect and provide for this family, this home with all his might be because the most important thing to him is his wife, kids and the home. The kids look to their parents for everything including their own self respect and education. Mum is the centre of all this, her job is the most important job of all.

10k is enough? Mary is my hero! Shay is correct. Being “just a housewife” is not the proper terminology. My mother was a housewife. Her day started at 4am and ended when everyone went to bed. I’m so grateful for growing up with my mother being a housewife/house manager.

Hi Leah, Great video with some very funny, smart,beautiful,strong women today...Love all you guys! The topic is really important and you had the perfect balance of personality 's to cover these topics. Well done!! There is one comment from Shay that really struck home with me was " JUST A HOUSE WIFE " If a husband had to pay out of pocket for everything that a wife/mom does in the course of a day it's a fortune! Wife, Mom,Nurse,Cook,House Cleaner and of course be the glue that holds everything together with a smile and happiness!! Thank you for the content.

I love the clarity that the ladies brought to the questions. Being a housewife is a very noble and difficult job. And a good man would appreciate that. And most men do not mind their wives going out and working, but the main factor is. You cannot forget about your household when you go out and work. But again the ladys borough great clarity.

According to the Pea expats should not make the Filipina partner stop working . If the relationships fails later and she can prove he stopped her from working or her career in court , then he will be liable for huge costs to her. I think its wise to let the Filipina carry on working as she will need income after the older expats dies anyway. Everyone ends up on a pension no matter how small it is, if you can survive on that with some savings as backup everything else is a bonus and no reason not to date. Wouldn't rely on youtube or any other platform to earn money either, doesn't take much to get shut down or bad PR to destroy your income.

I believe the lady in the middle is the most traditional the most honest and would make the best wife, the two on the left appear to have been influenced by western thinking. They seem to think that being a good mother and housewife is something you can do part time after you satisfied your career, they only have to look at western culture to see how well that's going, however if you do choose to be a mother and a housewife over a career you better make darn sure you choose the right partner.

I am very proud of her I don't just support her financially but emotionally aswell and she supports me 💯 emotionally as well as physically 😁 syempre 😁 she is the definition of the LIGHT OF THE HOUSE she just seems to know instinctively what to do in every situation.. we have been together for 5 years she hates to ask for money even if she knows I have money and when I do give her money she is so good at prioritising what the needs of our family are.. you know ever pesso counts and she really makes every pesso count.. she works hard cooking for the kids and keeping the house clean making sure our kids have everything they need and making sure they have a good happy childhood 🥰🥰🥰 I am so lucky to have such an amazing woman in my life I am forever thankful to God for giving me the chance to have the love from such an amazing woman and to feel her soul as part of my own... I now fully understand why people call their partner.. the other half.. or the better half .. Thank you ladies! For the first time since I began watching the pinay vlogs I heard women actually describe what love it. I swear that Filipinas have a 'love' guide book that they read from, but not this time! For once I did not feel like someone was trying to pick my pocket. Being 'rich' enough to hire outside help is a bad idea in my opinion. In what World is bringing other people into a family situation a good idea? Think about it ladies. You KNOW what the uniform we men like to see maids dress up in looks like, right? I'm sure you girls have a few ideas about the dress code for male help too. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Even if Mary wore rags heads to toe she would be a solid 8. Why do you ladies troll for compliments? Consider them offered. The content was great and my thanks to the ladies who played, 'Peek-a-boo pussy cat'. I look forward to watching part 2.

Well, if he is going to get a nice young wife, he should be able to provide for her a little more, even though both can contribute to the pot. Sure chemistry is important, and heat, but these men go there because they like the old fashions values, so they should make a point to exceptionally care for their lady. These ladies usually taken care of the man they have, so that is more than reasonable.

Professional career or not, staying at home and taking care of the house, raising 1 or more children, grocery shopping, paying bills, doctors appointments, etc. is a full time job with very limited time off and long hours. It’s easier to have a full time job outside of the home. It takes 2 to make a baby, surely GOD’S intention is for both parents to help raise the children.

I am in my 50's, earn 14,560,000 pesos / year and have 165,000,000 pesos in the bank. I wouldn't tell any lady in the PI any of that information, including the women in this video. I honestly don't understand why this topic keeps being brought up. Is it supposed to get foreigners thinking that if they only bring love to the table and some meager earnings / savings, that they will be able to develop a relationship with a woman who is much younger and / or about their level looks wise? This kind of video encourages men to let their guard down and reveal things about themselves or put their livelihood at risk in a country where desperate people do desperate things. I just can't wrap my head around the value of this conversation. Yes, we all know that some women think / feel the way that you SAY you do. We also know that there are plenty of those who SAY they do and then things change, drastically, when they are not on a KZfaq video.

I would think that if you love someone you wouldn't make your partner chose. Ok, you are starting a family, then the conversation may change. But I'm assuming I fall in love with a woman part of that is what she wants. Would a guy just quit his job because she said so? Doubtful. An older guy that is retired or something shouldn't expect her to just drop her life so he can be entertained. If a woman wants to raise a family and that is her priority then she would probably be wanting to be home with the family. My mom was a "housewife" and my father knew he had the easy part of going to work every day. A woman that gives all for her family is a diamond that is just as rare and should be admired as such. Just my opinion.

Problem is a lot of these guys are older men. And they just wantva young, hot Filipina to wait on them hand and foot. This is why they are moving to Asia. Time has passed them by. (Not all of course) But I agree 100% i will encourage my future wife to do whatever makes her happy. Ifcshe wants to work, great. She wants to start a business, i got her back. Wants to start a youtuve channel. I have 30k in gear. She can use any of it. I make more then enough to provide us with a great lifestyle. But if she still wants to work and needs me to help around the house. I'll gladly do so. If she wants to cook and clean while I work, great.

@@Pcbdude82 yes. Regardless of how much money the guy may have, that isn't the point. If she loves her job expecting her to quit so you can have a nurse maid is wrong. Hopefully the gal would realize this and walk away. Things will probably only get worse from there. I'm in my later 50's and can't understand why, as an adult you would expect someone to walk away from their life for you. IF she wants to then she would probably say so. But to even suggest it...then sign over everything to her first. Are you comfortable giving up everything for her? If not, then don't expect to her to do it either.

So basically what i am hearing here is the same things 90% of the western women would tell you. They want someone who can provide a comfortable lifestyle. They want the option to work. Especially if the man isnt rich, so they can contribute financially. Makes perfect sense. They want balance.

Older women are practical and want money, younger women want love and passion. The middle woman is mature and practical and so more transactional, and the one on the left is more idealistic. There's nothing wrong with any approach There is no "right" answer but there is a risky answer.

Of course it is about cash. My Filipina wife owns PP30 Million in property, that I have bought her. She has an income of PP80-100, 000 pcm. I met her when I was 48 and she was 37. We have a family and live in the Philippines. BTW, I am very fit. I have boxed since I was a teenager and have always participated in sports. Unfortunately, she has had too much of a good life over the past 10 years and seems to forget where she was when I met her.

The one on the far left is correct. Not neglecting your partner and responsibilities at home matters. One of the main problems with American women is that they think if they work they shouldn't have to do very little or nothing at home, while still using her money only for herself so they often bring no value to the relationship/family.

When watching this video I was confused about the “desired amount of money” the ladies would want their partner (or both combined) to earn. The average seemed to be 40-50k per month. This seems to be an extremely low figure to have even a reasonable lifestyle. Even in a province, much less a city. As long as we are being honest about this, shouldn’t the number be at least 100-150k. Jerry in NH

Think you missed the point, they said it's not about the money as long as they can put food on the table.... 10k monthly will be enough to put food on the table in province. Depending on the size of family of course. It's something that is difficult to discuss if you're thinking of family needs vs lifestyle achieving, Point is they all said its about the person making each other happy and working together as a team, family unit. That's what I took from that 🤔 you are talking lifestyle and the women are talking of basic needs being met and again it's all relative to combined household income/family members

I agree Gerald. Only one lady actually answered the question and the rest answered a question that was not asked. As for your comment about 50k being too low.... 50k is about $1,000 USD. $1,000 per month in the Philippines is good money. Doctors usually make $1,000 per month in the Philippines. Nurses and police officers make about $500 or $600 per month. A construction worker might only make $10 per day at the most and if he or she works 30 days a month that it still only $300 per month. This is the reason an exact number is important to hear from these ladies. The only one that answered started out with the low at $400 a month and said $1,000 a month would be so much better. That is a proper answer to the question asked and I respect her for her honesty. Her answer suggests that she wants a man providing income at least in the middle range but like all women and men for that matter... the more the better. Honesty is refreshing.

50k is @$880 US. I have an apartment in Pasig that costs $264 per mo. Nothing really fancy. Add food, transportation and utilities. $880 does get us bye, but no trips or parties.

I can't even fathom telling my partner what she can or cannot do relative to things that are fulfilling for her like work. If I told any of my Western girlfriends that they couldn't do what they enjoyed doing they would fall down on the floor laughing. Heck... I had a girlfriend who had a fans only channel. She performed at my house in the evenings. Crazy stuff ladies ❤️

This one is a bit of a loaded question. Much would depend on the westerners requirements for a happy life then add a bit for family on it. 24x7 ac, large house, eating out all the time. If she is ok with a small unsealed shack getting water from a well eating rice and dry fish that will cost little. Bringing her standards up to yours will have a drastic change to perceived basic costs. In the west the women just wont accept less then a six pack, 500k 6 foot tall and darn good looking. That is unless she really finds him hot.

In order to answer the question properly, the girls would have to experience western culture partially. they’d have to understand That western men that are proper and self supportive. should not be living at home with his parents !! should be able to afford a car and insurance and his own place. And should also be able to provide for a wife and child, whether or not the child exist at the time. I say this because in most western countries parents raze their children to be self sufficient so the parents can save for there retirement and not rely upon their children for monetary assistance. So If your western boyfriend still lives at home and you feel that he is the one ?? just remember that there is going to be a lot of headaches and sacrifices that will need to be made until your boyfriend grows up and stops playing games and gets a real job. This commonly doesn’t happen unless someone they really love pushes them to provide a sustained life. Because things are way more expensive in the west and many young men are not pulling their weight in life being slackers still sucking on mommies. I only say all this to help save you angles ❤from heartache When you find out he can’t afford to do the processing of paperwork for an overseas wife or 90 day fiancé. Or even pay for a plane ticket and hotel to see you. It’s all talk until he arrives. Just keep that mind set encase he hurts you. ❤❤

One thing I am surprised is rarely discussed. With all these age gap relationships. What the hell happens to the 40 year old Filipina when the 70 year old goat drops dead ? I have sufficient resources to care for someone and her kiddos. But... still requires budgeting and some financial restraint. The guy should have sufficient love and respect for his partner to plan for his death. He should leave behind both sufficient resources and the skills for her and her kids to make it to the end of her life. If married... she won't get survivor Social Security benefits until her mid 60s. Currently that's at best $1200 a month. Which ain't much. Perhaps more than sufficient for current Philippine cost of living ??

you should ask them how much of that money is going to us and how much is going to the family lol ... excluding emergencies like if her mom is in the hospital , ive heard horror stories about if you are a foreigner a filipina will want you to provide for her whole family lol
@Its-Just-Si-Reacts
@Its-Just-Si-Reacts 9 ай бұрын
It's not a horror story at all... And really it's if you can afford to... I know it might sound weird cuz you don't understand the culture there... But think about it.. if you are there with your wife or girlfriend and kids living together you have all your needs covered and your not worried about how you will feed your wife and kids for the next 2 weeks.. then your mother in-law gets sick.. maybe there is a bill for £80 or something and maybe you need to help her mom and dad with an electric bill Kasi they been sick and couldn't work for a few weeks... Like why wouldn't you do that? Why would you not think that is an absolute priority??? If her brother brakes a bone and can't work maybe you need to invite him to stay untill it gets better so he can eat... So he's not sat without electricity... Would you not accept it? If not then why?? It's the family of your girlfriend or prospective wife.. so basically it's YOUR family... Ofcours you will take care of them when they need help.. it doesn't mean they will all take advantage of you.. especially if your girlfriend is a good Filipina and explains that altho you have more money that them it doesn't mean you are rich you have a lot of things you have to pay also... They will understand.. I think the stories you have heard are from clinical people maybe those unlucky in love where something didn't work out.. but after all if you accept a filipina you should also be ready to accept her culture and learn not to be so wrapped up in your self and expect her to bend to your every want and need without comprises.. if your looking for something like that you best look somewhere else cuz Filipinas are sweet loving women and not just there for a bit of fun

I could see helping out the girlfriend or wife parents, if you have money left over after you take care of yourself and the girlfriend or wife......but not the cousins, nephews, brothers, sisters, second cousins and fifty other family members. That is just plain used and I believe if you don't put your foot down from the start, you will be bled to death over time. If your Filipina girlfriend or wife does not respect your decisions.......you are in going down a rabbit hole that you will never get out of. This is my opinion

Depends on the situation, of course you need to assess if you being used or not. Don’t be overwhelmed, keep a level head. If everything is genuine and it’s not much..personally I’d help out. Of course if they don’t help themselves then you should not be helping as well. But if they are very nice to you, why not help A LITTLE? Of course it’s not your job to provide for them, but helping from time to time is ok. As always talk to your partner

What we can see here is that more and more local women getting more and more westernized. I ask myself how many foreign men would accept a pinay women who is working when the man has an age gap of 20 years or more, living in the Philippines for retirement. . I can´t imagine that he accept a woman he has to kiss good bye in the morning and saying hello in evening after her work. Foreigners wanna enjoy their last 2 or 3 decades with their beloved philippine woman, not without her, i guess.
