It hasn’t materialized yet. Hasn’t been on a Dyno hasn’t been on a track in the Public’s eyes just like most of koenigeseggs so nothing proven they are nothing but brochure numbers except in a straight line basically.

Koeniggsegg is already selling Gamera! And has been tested as 600 bhp. 3 cylinders, 2 turbos and freevalve system! That's how you got it!

Koenigsegg are real with the numbers, obviously they can't say "my car has this power" and its not even the half, they test the cars. And koenigsegg have a Genius as a leader

You could send it back to CvK and have it upgraded to CCXR spec. It's basically just converting it to e85/e100, increasing boost and tuning. It makes 1000hp.

Not exactly the CCX-R has two tanks one for E85/100 one for gas With gas it makes around 908hp at wheels with very high quality gasoline, E100 it makes 1008-1020hp at the wheels. And Damn it's fast

That's a weird torque curve. I'm so glad you finally found out this car has twin superchargers. 653whp with a conservative 13% driveline loss would equate to 750hp at the crank.

I remember the original Koenigsegg CC8S made a claimed 650 PS, but when Autocar tested it they were highly skeptical and thought it made somewhere around 550 PS at the crank. They said the car just had too little torque at lower rpm.

This is awesome! Cannot wait to see some mods. 650 rwhp in a 3000 lb car is a ton of fun. My 911 turbo made 730 whp but all wheel drive, and it was a handful. So fun. Thank you for putting out these videos. So cool to see someone doing this kinda stuff with cars that are normally garage queens. Please please take the Bugatti and CCX to the LVMS 1/4 mile dragstrip next!!!

The superchargers on the car are rotrex c38-81 units . If you want more power replace the 100/110mm pulleys on the rotrex with 70mm should give you another solid 150whp as long as the injectors can handle it. Only other option is to replace the c38-81s with the new c38-112 units the blowers share identical housing so it's a literal bolt on and tune upgrade. With that setup you likely to see 1200+ easy with proper injectors of course.

I got 45whp going from 100mm to 70mm pulley on a 3.1L bmw m52 stroker motor and that car only makes 480whp on 12lbs of boost. Was making 7lbs of boost on 100mm pulley. Essentially you would be adding 10lbs of boost 14lbs vs 24lbs since you have two blowers. On top of that the ccx motor is much larger then mine so 1lb of boost in the ccx will yield WAY more power then 1lb on my straight six.

I do believe that Koenigsegg outfitted the CCX with a slightly different engine mapping for the US, due to a lack of quality fuel in states such as California.

Not the first. eGarage put a CCX through there, and so did the owner of the one-off CCXRS. Also, that particular car is not stock. It was actually tuned to produce 980hp.

Should make about 710-720 stock at wheels. How many miles does it have? Those engines were notorious to loose quite bit of power if not run and serviced like a 100%...

The BUG looks smoother during the run and the CCX certainly looks less refined, not in a bad way, just not the Luxury version of ultra speed.

Houston the CCX is rated at 806hp at the crank right ? Seems legit , 650hp ish at the wheels is around 18-19% drivetrain loss. Grats on the 400k subs man, onwards and upwards !

Did you use correct fuel? Most newer Koenigsegg like E85 or other high octane fuels, if this is the same, it may already have 800hp, it just limits itself because of bad fuel or maybe it just needs a checkup.

If you are going to modify it I would think putting smaller pulleys on the superchargers since they are rotrex supercharger might be able to get an off the shelf pulleys
