Question: Do you still have to pay U.S. taxes? I am thinking about the move. But I don't wanna be double taxed

Yes, if you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, you still have tax obligations to the U.S. when you live abroad. However, you are exempt from paying up to a certain amount when you live the majority of the year out of the U.S. I recommend you consult with a tax professional though for more information. Yes, there certainly are high quality, expat level restaurants in Addis. It sounds like you're asking about a potential job. However, I would even encourage you to consider starting one of your own!
