I think the first video I've ever watched of Shelby was a yearly salary reveal. I always like her transparency. She honestly doesn't have to give out her salary info, since it's her business. But all of her videos are like that, giving you the truth and not a glamorized, fake reality, if that makes sense.

What sets Shelby apart from other creators is that not only she shares her numbers, but also explains that is not as black and white as we (the viewers) may think. She gets heavily taxed and spends a lot of money on the production of the videos. Gotta love the fresh content!

well.... no more taxed than anyone else with that same income! Also travel and production costs are deductible before tax. And the branded content is not included in the income either because it was ad-sense revenue that was disclosed. Still, good to churn another video out of it to pay for her accountants fees ;-)

I am a financial advisor and videos like this help me learn more about the "influencer" income. 2 of my clients are KZfaqrs and the main reason they work with me are because I understand how they make money while other people at these "prestigious" firms don't take them serious because to them, KZfaq is not a real job in 2023

Shelby is the GOAT - Main channel made $145,631 in 2022 - RPM (revenue per 1000 views) for the main channel was $9.72 - Best month was April, in which they made $16,579 - Least profitable month was December, in which they made $8,406 - Second channel (Vlog channel) which made $47,766 in 2022 - The total revenue across both channels was $193,182 - Shelbys top earning video in 2022 was "the first checked in episode about the A-frame in Waco, Texas" which made $13,000 - Other top earning videos include: "What KZfaqrs Don't Tell You About Starting a Channel" and "Everything you need to know about airport lounges"

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZfaq channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 722 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Much of the $145k main chnl income came from fans watching Shelby’s AirBnb journey like the A Frame and “losing $” on the California house. So Shelby can take risks on Youtubable projects and still make money even if the project itself does not. It’s impressive how varied Shelby’s offerings are.

A suggestion, considering your large following, book yourself as guests on other people's podcasts? Where you will be allowed to utilize the content as well and repurpose for your channels. It's all their equipment etc that will be used and maybe you can reduce some of your costs and because of the more people interaction and getting cross promotion with those podcasters, you could potentially increase viewership and following etc which leads to more ad revenue and sponsorships?
