Hey all - thanks so much for watching this video, I am super grateful for all our subscribers. Just a note, I started the brand The Oodie and the $500m I am referring to is sales, not profit or net worth. Sorry if I wasn't explicitly clear in this video, all my previous videos I am quite clear on these metrics if you want to watch those. Let me know if you have any questions.

Your video showed up in my suggestions. Wow congrats on what you have achieved! Great to hear a success story, and how you overcame the challenges. I have been self employed for a long time, mostly selling online, but only a tiny % of your sales. Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine has nearly destroyed my business here in the UK, after a huge increase in cost of production, in March this year, of my best selling items, due to energy rises at the factory (it requires a lot of energy to make them) Since I did the price increase my sales have slumped by about 90%! I've sold them for years (regular sellers day in day out- customers love them, almost zero returns or issues), and got through the pandemic, but this is just something way worse than has ever happened before. Obviously this is nothing compared to what people in Ukraine are having to deal with, but it still has just about ruined my business, with bills to pay etc. Having watched your video, and your success in selling the weighted blankets, and Oodies, it made me think blimey, what I actually sell is probably even more perfect for Australia than Britain, and with your skills, its like an open goal for you. You'd probably sell them to every house in Australia! 🤣🤣🤣

For all my life I've always had the dream of becoming rich, and all the things I could do to help this world with it. But only ever since I was around 9 did I ever think of how that dream would come true. My head was always filled with the thought of it, but I could never think of something that someone had not already thought of in the first place. But I've thought, and thought, and I've been determined, and your story is the most inspiring one I've ever seen. Thank you for making me more determined in making my dream come true!

Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth. My husband and I we are both retired with over $2m in net worth and all paid off debts. Living smart and frugal with our money, made it possible for us this early even till now we earn passively with our asset coach. Adapt to a lifestyle be thrifty, set a budget, save money and build more streams.

Excellent choice having a great savings and more streams to earn makes life goals easier but our way of life needs better alternative, at the same time people also need to be more responsible. I know for a fact that there’s a lot of people that simply don’t make enough, I make roughly hundred plus a year and in California, rent inflation alone eat up almost all of what I make, with dependents and other obligations included, easy to end up with zero!

Great work, happy it turned out well As an lnvesting enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. . How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

diversifying your investments is the safest way to handle it. One way to lessen the effects of a market crisis is to distribute investments over a variety of asset classes, such as international equities, bonds, and real estate. It's critical to look for expert advice.

40 now, and everything is paid for. Fortunately, I had a college economics teacher who taught me a lesson when I was 18 years old. That lesson was: you can't buy something else for every purchase you make. Having multiple sources of income is prudent, as is living within your means. I have a 13-year-old vehicle because it is all I need, I like it, and I can do whatever I want with it. My net worth is $4 million, and I can pay my bills without stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.

I fully agree; I'm 56 years old and recently retired with approximately 1.2 million in outside retirement funds, no debt, and very few dollars in retirement funds in comparison to my portfolio balance over the last three years. To be honest, the financial advisor's role can only be ignored, not dismissed. Therefore do your research to get a reputable one and that should be any individuals main route into the market.

this guys story when he was young is literally me, I felt dumb and thought everyone around me were geniuses. It's not even a question if you are gonna make it. Don't listen to people who don't believe in you even when it's your closest friends and family. Stand strong and pull through. With this mindset you can conquer any obstacle in your way. With this mindset its all just *a matter of time* and *that is* under your control.

Alright so a few things here. I’ve watched this video and listened to it very carefully and thoroughly and I have to say, congratulations to you buddy, you have a good set of head and brains screwed between your shoulders. You are a clear case where luck means opportunity and effort meets success. I have actually lived in Australia for quite some years, didn’t manage to be able to stay due to how nearly impossible was to get a permanent visa at the time but I know enough about the country and its economy to say that you were very lucky to have the circumstance of being born and raised in a country where its economy is basically the envy of the world, and you made the most of it. You sound so humble and grateful about the whole process and the way you went about it speaks millions on how your mindset was built and how your drive and grit were met by a country where that kind of success is actually achievable. Well done!!!!! All the best to you and you deserve all the credit!

But you never hear about the 99.9% of people that failed and get nowhere, so ''failure is a prelude to even more failure" is more applicable and reality for most people. Like all "business advice" or courses it's not really that helpful. Obviously you gotta be in it to win it, but a vast majority of people will never make it and those that do often had/have something you can't teach -- they got incredibly lucky. Such as being at the right place at the right time, or a roll of the dice favouring their attempt at an idea being noticed or taking off, and not the thousand other people doing the same exact thing who were just too early or too late. While sitting on your ass gets you nowhere and gives you a less than zero chance, the reality is for every 1 person that makes it there's 100 working equally as hard on the same idea, maybe some working even harder, but fate just doesn't favour them.

This over-diversification is such a big problem early on. I've done it too. Just not being able to manage your attention and getting dragged every which way with a ton of side hustles. To be fair if you're going into it from a truly entrepreneurial headspace then I think it's probably worth learning those lessons until you find what works for you but most people can benefit from just getting really good at the one thing and instead of trying to shift into another business entirely, just focus the learning on improving or evolving what they have.

I'm 25 year old entrepreneur, running my own business and making up to $15k a month in passive income and I had a hunch since high school that school and college in general would be a huge waste of time for me. If any of you are in school or any education system for that matter getting bad grades, don't feel bad for not excelling at something that pretty much amounts to being a 9-5 slave factory.
