How Not To Exit a Boat | Miami Boat Ramps | Boynton | Wavy Boats | Broncos Guru
Welcome to the Miami Boat Ramps channel. We are dedicated to bringing you all the craziness that goes on at the boat ramps in South Florida! Sit back and enjoy the show!
Ramps we currently cover: 79st (La 79!) / Black Point Marina / Haulover
We are working on adding 2 more ramps to the roster. Stay tuned!
Don't forget to hit the like button, subscribe and leave us a comment. If you don't, we're coming to steal your drain plug!
Also be sure to check out our other channels

Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!

Sometimes it's painful to watch?? Most of the time LOL, that's why your channel is successful. Love it. Can't believe how many unqualified captains are out there. thanks for the laughs.

I bought a house on the James River in VA just for the fact it was 1 mile from a boat ramp and all the entertainment it provided...meanwhile I kept my boat in a slip down at the bay..best of both worlds 😂 😂

I see a lot of 4 wheel drive comments, when one buys a boat one needs to adjust boat to trailer, its all in the tongue weight. I had 4x4 never needed it once at any ramp ever over a span of 40 years.

I wouldn't say that the wind was 'tearing'. The flag, trees and water suggest a light breeze. Quite a strong current though.

How many people I have helped off road where they haven't dropped tyre pressure. Rookie mistake. A bigger tyre foot print helps in the majority of situations.
@maccamac7986

You can go down to around 10-15psi which is quite common here in Australia when four wheeling on sand and unformed tracks ...... lowering to low pressures helps with more ground cover to get better gripping however, it best to also keep a very slow and consistent acceleration..... what that guy did certainly helps in situations like that.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but if I were piloting that pontoon boat, I would of put it in reverse, turned my bow into the wind by turning the motor to Port, then forward throttle into the dock. Use the wind to your advantage.
@justdoingitjim7095
@justdoingitjim7095 Жыл бұрын
The biggest mistake the guy on the pontoon was making was he never turned the steering wheel until AFTER he had put it back in forward and had already started giving it some throttle. Every single time he did this it started moving his boat in the SAME direction that he was trying to get out of!

When coming into the dock on a windy day point your bow into the wind....do not try to parallel park / dock and if you have a collapsible sun shade fold it back to r prevent it acting like a sail.

2 things 1. Is the ramp closing for good or are they finally doing repairs...? 2. many of the trucks having problems on the ramps have clown-size wheels with low-profile tires and letting air out of those will only make things worse.

Under / over inflated tires reduces tread on ground surface. Under the ground side is concave. Only the outside treads are in contact. Over, ground side is con-vexed, only center tread is in contact. The fact he got it out was combo running start, extra weight on axle. Now he has to fill tires so under inflated tires will over heat and catastrophically fail

I used to have a boat on the Thames in the UK. So often you would see boaters coming into a lock, a person on the bow would hook the line round a bollard and try to stop the boat moving forward. The boat of course, would swing out giving the person at the stern a bit of a problem.
