There has to be a Freon leak if there was no Freon in the system. Maybe it’s in the evaporator in the dash. That will be an expensive fix! Thanks for being honest!!!

Great video loves see quality shops, helping people out. I know we don’t mind spending money wehen necessary. It’s not necessary. Someone’s trying to scam us. Glad to find good shops. They’re honest.

I’m an automotive manufacturing engineer, specializing in low voltage diagnostics for one of the bigger marques. On a regular basis I’ll review diag reports and see a very similar situation as your customer encountered with the other shop. We tend to call that “shotgun” diag, as they just start replacing everything until it starts working again. No clear understanding, just shotgunning parts. Great job! I’m still curious why it would drop freon that low without an obvious leak, but good on you for running it a few days before calling the issue solved!

I’m the owner of this same vehicle. Purchased it from Georgia. Had to repair the night vision and curb rash on the wheels. Also found a small leak in the ac because it still wasn’t cooling. But she’s going steady now.
