Its a beautiful bird and it is more like your child than a pet. Your training methods are all perfect but the way you have presented them to lookie are perfection, not even the mother bird could compare to the level of commitment and the results are obvious, this bird loves you as only a bird would love its mother. Amazing videos, thank you so much for sharing.

What a gorgeous barn owl

I was taught index and middle finger to secure jessers and then a secondary security between middle and 4th finger. I have raised Eagle Owls from babies and loved them. Unknown adults not so much. My Barn Owl i don't use a glove when she is inside. Outside i do the safety position but i also have a fastener that attaches to the swivel as an extra level of security. I was also taught glove behind the bird not in front. Falconry and owl husbandry seems to be different everywhere.

As I'm sure your aware there are many types of eagle owl. A Bengal eagle owl or african spotted eagle owl is hardly bad ass and very much recommended as a first owl in the uk.

Not so sure on the 5 min Mark birds look a bit to stresses personally I would not want to be a part of the tieing them down in a scary place they are not used to I get birds are tied down were they live to keep good in good condition but out in the street with too much to worry about not were I like to see the birds
