How often should I post on Facebook Business pages is a question that comes up a lot. This video is designed to help you answer it.

Thanks for the video. We have an escape room. Groups range from 2 players to 10 players After the group escapes the room. We take a group photo and post it on Instagram and automatically on Facebook. Maybe 10 to 20 photos. One at a time on Fridays and Saturdays. And a few more on Weekdays. Should we wait and them all at one time?

It sounds like you're using it more like a place to host photos than as a social media strategy, and if that works, keep it up! If it's not mostly about pleasing your customers by making them feel special, I'd suggest only posting your BEST photos and definitely spreading them out.

Interesting video; Nice condensed discussion. I post 1/day for our small town restaurant. Content is our "daily Lunch special" - a verbal description and a graphic. I tie each one to a historical fact (this day in history), and try to put some humor into both the verbal and the graphic. We are generally getting between 1-2 hundred hits per day with 4-10 likes or shares.

And if that's working for you, keep it up! It sounds like you're doing a great job with it. The important question to ask is, "Do people come in to order it after seeing it on Facebook?" I have a restaurant client that does a "Sandwich of the Day." They wanted to post about it every day. The problem is the restaurant was a steakhouse, but when you went to their page all you saw was pictures of sandwiches. On top of that, while people did order the sandwich, they had no proof it was because they were posting about it on Facebook.

Hi & Thanks for the video! Assuming I start boosting my posts and it works and I end up getting more interactions, can I eventually stop boosting my posts, since my page has gained popularity?

Great question Rivka! Yes and no. Boosting will get your page more organic (free) reach. Results will probably slow down over time. The only way to reach people who haven't liked your page is through boosting, so if you stopped, only people who have liked your page have any chance of seeing your content (and that might be okay?).

Is there a way to monitor how well the posts do ? Like a bar graph ? Also do you have a vid on how to use groups to advertise in? I use FB marketplace for my sales but I use a personal FB setting not a business site.I also tread lightly .I hit my limit often . How to I add to the limit ? And how does FB figure the limit ? Do you have a vid on FB market place advertising ?

If you go to your business page you can click Insights on the top menu to see how posts did. If you're using a personal account there isn't a good way to track. If you were tracking link clicks, you could use bit.ly links or some other trackable link program to see where your clicks can be tracked. You can't advertise in groups, but if you are talking about how to promote your business in groups, I don't have a video about it. When Facebook Page reach declined, people started trying to compensate by posting more. In the end this leads to bombarding the same small group of people with mediocre posts. In my group coaching program, FMSM Pro, most people are posting 3 times per week, and some as few as one!

Have you considered spending money to boost your posts? If you are posting once or twice a month, Facebook isn't going to show your content to very many people (no matter how many have Liked your page). Hi Jerry, I need helps. I am posting 2 to 3 post per day and I am in furniture business. Is it a lot? I am afraid audience might unfriend a page just bcoz too many posts and on the other hands, I am worried that I post very less and people will not see it.

Your instincts are accurate, but people don't even have to stop following you. Facebook's algorithm will just stop showing your content to people if they aren't engaging with it. This video about how the algorithm works might be helpful: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/la-Fld2EkqfJgJ8.html

Great question Elisha - I think it depends on a few things: What's your industry? Are you a photographer? If so, I'd probably say yes. How much time will it take you? Do you have that time to spare or is there something better you could do with that time? How intrusive is your brand logo? Those are things to consider. Finally, will it make all your posts look like ads? Anything that looks more like an ad, people are more likely to scroll past in their feed.

If you are asking if you can take someone else's pin and save the image, then upload it to your Facebook post, no. They own that image. You could put the link to the pin in a post, but of course then you can't edit it.

Not legally. You are taking something someone else owns and uploading it to your own account, and that's illegal.

Hey Brad - That seems to be something they are experimenting with, but you are correct. Currently you can't upload videos and photos in the same post on a business page. 😕

Just used boost for the 1st time - should I invite the people ,who liked the post, to like our page? It was informational without asking for their business. Want to earn trust and present ourselves as human first.

Great question Rachel. You'll have to decide the best answer for yourself, but I invite EVERYONE who has engaged with a post to Like the page. I'm not asking them for money. They engaged with your content, so they are likely interested in their page. And if they're not, no big deal! Facebook just asks them once through a notification.
