@@garyneilson3075 apart from New York and Dc. New York in very special cases only when the mayor itself is actually bigger than the office. And in Dc that due to the lack of a governor the mayor in itself is the highest figure behind the president. But everywhere else that’s pretty much the duty of the mayor, he is there to shake hands, give as many press conferences as possible, and hopefully for him build up enough of a public image, name recognition, and approval for a second term doing the same. And then he can actually go for the legislative, where he will dream to go to the senate. Where everyone who dreams of the president wants to be. Because of the gigantic amount of exposure and much less competition compared to the house. And then they run for president having ALWAYS at least one term in the senate

But seems like his town thinks he has the qualities and so this is who they voted for as their official, which will lead these kids down that path(yes they probably won’t get voted into any city, but big cities are corrupt, and the small town will stay wholesome..)
