After living in the suburbs of Sydney, Peter and Robyn purchased the stunning block of land in Tasmania to build their dream home for retirement. After discovering that the the land was not connected to the grid, they decided to build a self-sufficient home.

This house manifests the ideas I’ve had for the past 2 years. Hillside facing south, solar/hydro powered. Best, most efficient way to live comfortably and peacefully. Bravo!

This is one if the best implemented off-grid homes I have ever seen. Earthship, tiny home or whatever.... they have found a balance and are riding that line nearly perfectly. Keep it going!

Holy smokes, this is my new dream home set up. I love how the hydroelectric generator compensates for the lack of sunlight during the winter.

The question is, would mother Earth have enough ressources for all people to have this sort of lifestyle ? After it is built, it seems functional indeed, but what about the initial very large amount of ressources that it would require ? I do not know, just wondering

What can one say, the house is stunning and beautiful, self sufficient is a big bonus . Your philosophy is simple and a model for others to follow should they choose. Hopefully your willing to show the way to other that would be so willing. Please take care of yourself in this present climate there will be a need for people like yourselves in the times ahead.
