Big machinery meets old school brawn when Industrious goes deep inside the major Canadian deepwater port of Vancouver, British Columbia. With 28 terminals, 600 kilometers of shoreline and nearly 35,000 workers, Industrious captures this vast port in crisp High Definition as it works to keep economy humming. Overcoming broken equipment, a punishing schedule and bus loads of lost passengers, find out what happens when crews race to load and unload five very different ships - in just hours - in order to meet tight deadlines. Watch as a series of crises must be solved on time before a back up at the port will be felt around the world.

is there not a single scene worth more than a 3 second shot. I'm 5 minutes into this video and there must have been through 200 different scene changes. It is difficult. m

Loading and unloading, just aren't that exciting without lots of fast music and greatly sped-up shots and edits...that's why it's called editing, you could make a worm wrestle look exciting with enough loud music and artificial excitement thrown in. Or you could watch a two-day car carrier unload from start to finish...paint drying anyone?

Thank you. The editing style is fuckin exhausting to watch. Stop treating the audience like we are goldfish with 3 second attention spans. It could have been narrated with interesting facts about the ships or the industry instead of 'if everything doesn't go 100% the sky will fall...'

Great documentary. Big thanks. A pity that BC is exporting their high-quality logs to Japan instead of processing them domestically and then exporting higher value wood products.

First, ask this question: "Is it Vancouver WA, or Vancouver BC?" The hints are- numerous comments about BC, but that makes it too easy, same with the shots of Canadian flags, so that leaves us only the most basic geography, and a tad of intelligence, (optional of course)and you should be able to figure it out... or not. Have a nice day, eh?

I'm sorry that the entire cruise ship industry is now kaput. But they grievously mishandled the crisis created by covid. And made the entire world doubt their integrity and professionalism.

I would rather say that Covid actually exposed the true ugly face of the international cruise ship industry and their clients.
