We had a very nice weekend for the Fourth of July, I wanted to do a lot more but my family they work so hard and they just wanted a day to just relax and enjoy each other‘s company. So we had two wonderful meals. We played yard games and then went golfing. But that weekend we went out on the boat Did more golfing laying in the sun did some yardwork and gardening. And now today my husband is 100% hay season. It’s been raining so much and he hasn’t been able to get everything he wants done in the hayfield and this whole week is supposed to be absolutely beautiful so he says OK get my hay sandwich And drink ready in the field this week.
I think my kids look forward to the holidays because they get work off and they can just veg at the big house as they call. It is my new name of my house now. All the kids say are you coming to the big house which is kind of cool honestly. And so I make sure that I do it all up and I go overboard with the holidays because my kids love it so much and I truly love all the holidays, you know Christmas is my favorite. But I just wanna show them how thankful I am for how hard they work and all they do for me and so like I’ve said before my language of love is cooking and baking for my family.
