Squirtle is probably the best Pokémon naming I’ve ever seen. He’s part turtle, so the “rtle,” but he’s also got a squirrel tail, so “squir,” and finally the “squirt” from both implies squirting from water. It’s probably the best synergy of any pokémon name I’ve ever known. Too bad I never pick him
