I feel so sad watching these children's sad faces, especially that little girl on the floor. How can they expect these people to save money to pay for land and build homes when they are struggling to buy food for their children? They should provide housing for them. Without a stable home and food to eat, it's hard to focus on anything else. Families in this situation should get financial assistance to get on their feet and build a life for their children. In Guyana, the reality is harsh; finding jobs without skills and education is not easy. They need assistance in learning a skill so that they can support their children. It's obvious that these women and men are the product of poor parenting, and if they don't get help, the little ones will grow up and repeat the same thing. These are the effects of neglect, hardship, and trauma. Give them the tools and resources to create a better life and future. They need help breaking generational patterns. They just need opportunities, support, and compassion. Society never shame the men even when they are doing wrong things. What about the men who are going around making babies and abandoning them? Why are they not being punished for not paying child support? Is it not their responsibility to wear protection too? Ladies, if you are reading this, please don't allow these men to come into your life and feed you lies. When you meet a good man, you will know. His actions will tell you what type of person he is and how he feels about you. Your priority right now should be you and your children. Leave these men alone and focus on your mental health, securing a job, and taking care of your children so that they don't go through the same hardship. Don't be discouraged; keep pushing through. Why aren’t the so called social services workers helping these and others like them? Freddie and Gildarie should invite some of these people on their show to bring more awareness to their problems. A civilized and humane society can be judged by the way it treats its lesser fortunate citizens and Guyana is failing miserably in this regard. Keep up the great work Shabna.👍

I don't understand with birth control why does these young woman don't use it so much children use birth birth control.

I don't want to be mean here. But I want you all to understand that cost of living is very hard in certain countries but to see a mom that keeps on bringing more kids into this world and continues to struggle is mind-blowing. If you can't afford it. Use birth control. I am so sorry to see the poverty living it's very sad. At the same time people need to control themselves, men running around spreading their seeds and ladies keep on reaping.

I dont live far from these people, whenever you pass by these little girls would run out on the road shouting to the cars and taxi drivers begging for money, its a very scary situation especially when these are very little innocent girls, and the mother would be right there watching them running on the road asking these people for money, the only solution i see is for these women to stop producing all these kids , am not trying to be mean but its very sad for these kids , the mother needs to use protection somehow or another or if not put these kids in an orphanage until she can be able to provide for them properly they would be better off, they have lots of orphanage on the west coast here. keep up the good work sister i must say you're doing a great job, God bless🙏

Thank you for all the work you do to the community to help people. But honestly, these women need birth control, condoms and sex ed. Many of these women are sleeping around and have different baby daddies, and no support for hardly any of them. It is not right to keep having baby after baby when you can’t even support yourself.

Sadly the children are the ones who are suffering. You had 4 children already. Now another one. Children are a blessing from God. Birth control should have been something that you should have done after your second child. She's very outspoken. Nuff mouth. I would donate to her JUST to make sure that she doesn't have any more children. 5 girls children. I can see how much they will encounter ill treatment. I DON'T wish that on them. But it's a known fact.

They are being used and abused by men, they need to be more independent and dump the men who only wants to used them and leave them. The women in other countries can not afford to only have sex and children and no income. They need to go start working, whether being house cleaning or whatever more they can do and stop selling their body to men and bring kids into poverty which is not fair to the children. I’m a single mother, too, but I don’t let men abuse me and bring forth innocent children in this world if the man or woman can’t maintain them properly. I hope they stop selling their body so cheap and for just lust , they need to go find a job and work, plant a garden, mine some chicken, sell eggs, do some thing and stop having unnecessary sex.
