alain charizard is very weak, he rarely defeated any pokemon without mega evolve.. unlike ash charizard that has beaten legandary Articuno, in its base form without any Evolution. Evolution is not everything, the actual thing that matter is hard training and battle experience

Articuno was not caught by Noland he was just listening to it. That articuno was even more powerful than the articuno who was in pokemon Lugia movie. (That articuno in lugia movie was only using a single attack(ice beam). Noland's articuno was using 4 moves, using mixed attacks (ice beam and water pulse), He defeated noland's jet in race with him so his speed is very high, he lifted and throwed about that 1 ton machine of team rocket, the reason he lost to Charizard is that Charizard is super strong.) . You are saying that Kanto and johto pokemons are weak so in that sense Kanto and johto starters group is weakest starter group. . Than Dragonite will be weakest pseudo legendary. Than mew and Mewtwo are also one of the weakest legendaries and can be defeated by Pokemons like Alain mega Charizard X, Steven's mega metagross etc. Don't even underestimate the power of legendary birds. In Journeys episode 102 articuno alone defeated 12 Pokemons. Old gens Pokemon are not weak. Ex mega evolution doesn't exist in gen 1 but that doesn't mean that Kanto Pokemons can't mega evolve. Z move was first shown in anime in alola but that doesn't mean that Kanto Pokemon can't use z move. Bro old gen Pokemon are not weak that's just animation effect.

Iris's dragonite was too strong than other dragonites as it took 4x effective ice type moves many time. But because the growth of pokemons and animation improvements charizard became strong too so it dominated dragonite with ease. And I think Iris's Dragonite is much stronger than Nolan's Articuno As dragonite helped iris to become champion

I am a charizard fan but I disagree your one point that charizard seismic toss is not powerful I agree it can't defeat mega metagross and mega charizard x but ash Greninja will be unable to durable that OK and blaze infernape can durable charizard normal seismic toss but if charizard uses seismic toss that he uses on magmar it would be unable to durable it I mean first aerial submission and then throw it away from sky and this time infernape would be unable to counter this move and if by luckily countered any how than too charizard would be good condition plus charizard can match infernape speed easily ok plus infernape almost every attack is physical and you can't forget that infernape can never match ash charizard physical strength
