I agree a Newly Mega Evolved Lucario cant beat an Experienced Gmax Machamp who has mastered Gmax long back. In General Gmax Machamp should have crushed 1st time mega evolved lucario in minutes, also Machamp had an advantage against Lucario.

Ash's Lucario defeated Bea's Gmax Machamp because of plot armour. Literally Lucario is weak against Fighting types and using it against Bea 's Pokemon and that too surviving Strongest attack of Gmax Machamp's and surviving without any scratch almost blows my mind. Ash already had a battle with Bea twice, 1st time Loss, 2nd time Draw and now he was made to win the match. Logically I think Bea's Gmax Machamp is 2x stronger than Ash's Mega Lucario,I can also explain 3 more reasons why but I think this points are also sensible for you guys. If Lucario can survive Gmax Machamp's strongest move and can survive even without Scratch he can also survive Ash Greninja's Ultimate Water Shuriken , Pikachu's Super Z Move 10 million Thunderbolt and Infernape's Flamethrower in Blaze ability.

Another point when mega Charizard used blast burn on mega metagross it should be super effective but it didn't drop 1 percent ho of metagross same as metagross used Meteor mash on mega Charizard and it didn't drop 1 percent of hp

Bro in battle of Ash Charizard and Iris Dragonite, Charizard used dragon claw while Dragonite was using dragon rush, so due to dragon claw there was neutral damage on Ash Charizard🤔🤔🤔
