I was there 2017 when he win his first Tdf stage, and i was there yeasterday when he won his first Giro. Fakin amazing :)

As a Slovene and an avid Primož fan this win was such a joy to witness. I'm so proud of this bloke! And what makes me a proud Slovene are all the fans who were there and prepared a worthy stage for a champion like Primož. Yet still in the end they all respectfully cheered for Geraint as well. A sign of respect he most certainly deserves!

Both Roglic and Thomas are showing strong sportsmanship and deserves great respect.

As it happened, I was at my cousin's 21st. We all went to bed at 12.30am local time (Australia) at which point I tuned in, about when Jay Vine rolled down the ramp. Didn't get to sleep till well after 2, but was well worth it! Primoz is my fav rider, his interviews throughout were 👌

there were so many instances of bad luck in recent years for Primoz, so at certain point i thought no way it is possible. Universe must owe tons to Primoz. He wen’t through unimaginable mental challenges after setbacks, but he came out of this stronger. Great athlete, one of my fav riders and source of inspiration.

Great reacp; Thank you! My distinct memory is of Tao G-H being loded into the ambulance. Ouch! Then of Primoz Roglic thanking God after his victory yell. I would have liked to see how copetitive it would have been with Remco E. & Tao G-H; but even with out them, it was a thrilling Giro.

That. Was. AWESOME! What a beautiful recap of a strange and drama filled Giro. Weeks ago, when we all made our predictions (1. Primoz 2. G 3. Anyone but Remco) it was a wish 🙏🤞🙏🤞. A daring wish. Let me introduce a new word for the high cadence climbing tecnique: "Rogging!" Roglic won because he is fantastic at rogging (and of course everything else, but the rogging was how he stole time from Gerraint Thomas). Spinning up the hills with high cadence is not a new thing. Armstrong was a trendsetter in that tecnique, but he ate to many pills to deserve getting his name on high-cadence climbing. Roglic was spinning so good in the mountain time trial that he deserves getting his name on that tecnic. Roglic did prove that rogging was a more sustainable tecnic than climbing heavy like Gerraint. Yesterday I tried to rog a 4 km climb on 40 front 42 rear cogs. It was new personal record, and I got less tired avoiding heavier gears.

I expected a little more analysis. TJV did their homework, reconned the route extensively, and brought in the unprecendent gravel bike groupset to the final two stages. I'm Team Rogla, but it wasn't just BELIEF alone.

Roglic did not crumble on Planche des belles Filles, his watts were excellent and totally comparible with every single TT specialist on the TDF. He lost the race because someone did something supernatural, beyond possible. Unfortunately, the winner of the race was almost the only one that did not have computer on, so we cannot compare the winner with everyone else. But we can wonder.

You can win a grand tour without winning a single stage. Imagine that!

Like every rider before him to win a Grand Tour, he prepared better with his protocols.

Geraint looked way overgeared for the climb. Also his bike change was terrible.

How he won? Very simple. Nobody did a single thing untill the Mountain TT and he won that one.

How did Roglic win? Simple. The difference was G is very good at the really steep stuff but Roglic is exceptional and that's what we had in the penultimate stage's ITT. So, no, this was not a "miracle" as it was a good probability.
