I just want to understand, when you are increasing the voltage value does solenoide increase the openning percentage?

The solenoid valve is set according to the voltage value of each coil. It can only be used if the voltage is suitable.

Thank you very much, what about current consumption at 20% for example? It will drain a lot of current as it stays at steady level the coil of the solenoid valve will work too much isn't it?isn't more convenient to use a servo motor with an MCU to control a standard valve in water applications?

I could clearly understood the concept.. could you tell me the conversion of current to voltage is calculated??... I think mostly the controller sends the output in the range of 0v-5v to the actuator.. am I right?? Please explain? Let me know how do you make these videos 📹 what software ?? It's pretty good 👍

Very informative video. Please also tell what if we want to get desired pressure from valve and we have no concern for flow rate, how will this be possible with controller? For changing pressure to desired values, which values from input current and flow rate would change and which would be constant?please tell.

The device in the video is a 'flow control device', and the device you are looking for is probably a 'proportional control regulator'. can a simple 24 VDC on-off valve be used to control flow. ? if we apply 12 V to 24 V DC to NC simple ON off SV, what will happen? Will it partially open or will remain closed?

ı would like to ask one question.we have two high shov and lov shov this valve firstly read tank pressure and compare the set pressure then make a pressure control based on the threshold.we want to use withput proportional valve or samrt valve is it possible to use with just on and off valve ?

Good job. Great video series. Can you please explain how do you get 7V on the output from PWM converter at 4:33 in this video ? I understand that 50L/min flow equates to 7.2ma control signal and is representative of 20% duty cycle. But shouldn't this in turn result in 4.8V output from the valve controller (20% of the rated 24V), at least as far as simplified Flow Graph is concerned ?

Yes, that's right. For ease of explanation, I described 7.2mA as 7mA, but to express it in detail, 7.2mA is correct. I don't understand the second question, could you tell me in more detail? :)

@@MsPneumatic The thing is - it’s says 7v, not 7mA! In the year time this video was posted, you could have caught and fix the mistake.

Voltage is the same. The current changes by lengthening of the “tops” of PWM signal, the longer the tops - the more is current.

Hello. Can you please help me with Pr 2224 proportional valve controller. What is spring response setting It is showed in the menu as percentage But I can’t figure it out Also I can’t limit the maximum current flowing to the solenoid There is setting for max current I did put my values but it is not controlling the max current Please replay

All the proportional solenoid valves i searched on internet are normally closed...NC type...irrespective of other specifications of a proportional solenoid valve...can any one help me to get the link where i can purchase normally open (NO)type proportional valve.... Alternatively suggest how to convert closed type proportional valve to open type proportional valve.. Thanks in advance :-)

I have a question please clear my doubt. If i use this proportional solenoid valve from which oxygen gas and LPG fuel gas will flow. At a certain point i want flow of oxygen gas 5-10 LPM and LPG 15-20 LPM then after few seconds I want flow of both gases to be like oxygen 250-350 LPM and LPG 50-80 LPM. Can I do it with this valve? And if i can do with this valve then how I will set my desired flows in different times?

Unfortunately, the product in the video can only be used as a fluid, such as air, inert gas, or water.

You would just build a parallel set of valves to the initial set that flows at 5-10 and 15-20 your parallel valves would have metering jets to make up the difference at full flow with all valves open at one just activate the first two valves and then the second two on a switch it sounds like you are trying to automate a cutting touch
