It is very easy to install and it works very well, with a clear picture through the app and good in-home use (we added the chime, which is also easy to install and doesn't require another thought to use).

Right ... now for some truth Firstly your Internet better be up to scratch if your using other equipment constantly . My ring doorbell has a lag time connecting to my phone of anywhere from 2 seconds to a minute by which time the person at the door has turned and gone by the time you click on the app to respond . Occasionally I get no notification but still logs movement ? Do not rely on this to guard your parcel drop while your elsewhere sometimes it don't even register the postman in and out the gate delivering post . If you still want to get one the resolution on the cheaper option is rubbish don't bother . Your definitely going to need the more expensive better camera option . That way when it works you get a crisper picture . I have the ring 1 and my daughter has the more expensive ring 2 both with different Internet providers both with the same operating problems.

And it gets the creepiest footage and creepiest pictures like orbs, ghosts, drunk people, and satan infront of your door :D

I this so bad. Strangers come to my house allllll the time at allllll hours of the night, and I spend several minutes arguing with them because they never believe that they're at the wrong house 😖. I'm definitely getting one as soon as possible

Ring doorbells are worthless. They are supper slow to connect / respond, hard to understand the conversations. I don't recommend this product to anyone.

I'm sure it could easily be removed from the wall with a hammer making it useless
