The height in baki is just inconsistient as some 6'5 footers are like 2x the size of the people around. Best to just shut your brain off and not sweat the little things. Though I will say the weights compared to their builds and height are actually kinda believeable which is uncommon in most anime

Rumina was only 12 years old when he met Baki. Now, let's all remember that Baki himself was only a year older than Rumina when he; took on 100 delinquents and brought down at least 45 of them including their strongest member, fought a world-class, undefeated boxer, a Japanese Yeti, a giant Yakuza boss, a squadron of elite guerilla soldiers, and survived a fight against the strongest creature on the planet. So when he heard of a 12 year old, was looking to fight him, it probably reminded Baki of himself back in the day. Which is why he respected Rumina enough to treat it as a real fight. And like in all of his fights; Baki used just the right amount of strength to end it.

This season is my favourite so far. I loved the build up it had until Baki vs Oliva. The animation quality needs to be top notch for the upcoming Pickle arc.

Unfortunately they will probably keep the same animation for the pickle arc, I really hope I'm wrong but I believe they will keep it as it is, which is bad in my opinion, tho the aesthetic of the anime isn't bad at all. It actually suits Baki but they don't actually animate the fights, they copy paste the manga exactly as it is and add a few scenes in between panels to make it seem animated, that's all..I just hope they give some more effort.

En ese dia que Rumina conocio a Baki, el fue separado del resto de los niños y de esos 3 mocosos insolentes y fue puesto al lado de los hombres valientes. Y creo que esos 3 mocosos insolentes nunca mas se volvieron a acercarse a Rumina. Y el mocoso rubio arrogante salio huyendo como una nena miedosa al ver a Baki acercarse.

Tbh that kids strong as hell he got slapped 10 ft into the air then hit the water in a way that made him skip across its surface and THAN he proceeded to walk back to the person who did it and give him a handshake BTW THAT GUY IS A MAN WHO CAN PUNCH AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT WITHOUT USING HIS FULL POWER
