As a student who was stuck in ukraine for 14 days during the war, I talked to some soldiers in ukraine while coming back to india. They all had their friends, family or someone for sure living in russia and this is the reason that they cant hate each other much but politics my friends can ruin anything.

I m living in Russia from last 3 years my son has spent more his life in Russia but this situation , really no words to express ! Very good analysis. Mr Dhruv Rathi has given a balanced account of both sides. It is generally believed that the relatively small country Ukraine has somehow withstood the war by the mighty Russia. It is a good lesson that rulers shouldn't be intoxicated by wars and political power.

One more thing Mohak could have talked about was that of a Pyrrhic victory, wherein the considerable losses outweigh the gain, so as to render the struggle not worth the cost. One prime example of this the 27 year war in Deccan by Aurangzeb. Anyway, great video as always.

Great video - I have been following the war closely to estimate the economic impact on the markets. Ukraine’s counter offensive was one for the history books. The eastern region is virtually frozen during the winter and not an easy war zone in those months. Ukraine kept drumming the fact that they would attach the south Kherson region regularly targeting bridges and supply lines. Russians moved their soldiers there and Ukraine hit the east rapidly retaking 6000 sq kms of territory in 5 days … if Lyman on the east is taken then logistically it will be a nightmare or winter for Russia. The southern part will have a lot of fighting over the winter where it is relatively warmer.

@@ADITYAKUMAR-mb5ht based on how the war is going, more than the soldiers it is the logistics and weapons. During the initial phase of the war - Russian artillery hammered the Ukrainians, but with introduction of HIMARS and French Caesars - Russian logistics and ammo bases have been erased. Bridge connecting south to Crimea has been destroyed - so it is already a logistic nightmare. It will bloody winter this south either ways.

@@ADITYAKUMAR-mb5ht you cannot fight a war without logistics. But time will tell, where this is headed. The 300k which I believe will be 1 million armed soldiers will need equipments which is another sticking point now. Let’s see how this develops over the winter. Energy shock and next food inflation - and a betrayal of nuclear treaty - the world is changing .. for the worse for sure

@@davidalexsebastiank6250 fight doesn’t happen overnight; it has been destroying ammo bases and logistics for months .. it looked like a 5 day victory but the digging has been going on for a while
