I walk through a small town in central/eastern Germany's Federal State of Thuringia with Tien. She explains what it was like living here in the town of Greiz when she was younger and why her family chose to move here.
Tien takes us on a tour through the main parts of the town in the second half of the video and shows us what it feels like to be here during the COVID-19 pandemic.

@@ExpatCaptures Wow this town used to be more populated ! ( 1800s...etc...) But now, there's not many people ! They all went into big cities looking for " work" This is a good way for people today , to leave these horrible crowded cities , and go here . Where it's nice , and open and not crowded ! But you have to have a plan and an income source. Great video.

Did not expect to see Greiz being shown in a vlog on KZfaq like this. Really cool because I went to school there and still live pretty close. Personally I don't like the town's appearance that much outside of the areas shown in the video, but it's nice to see people appreciating it for what it is. Also, I've never seen Greiz this empty, especially the Puschkinplatz. Really interesting. Anyway, great video!

it's crazy, where I live in australia, 6000 is a decent sized town. Obviously we wouldn't consider it large, but many smaller towns number only in the hundreds, and they are very far apart. This is western australia, much lower population density than the east.
