I just bought a 2023 TRD OFF ROAD …here in Ohio ..Sam’s Club $2.81 a gallon. I’m getting 16mpg . Love my 4 runner. Thanks for sharing your video.

I usually fill up right when it hits a quarter also, don't want to burn a fuel pump. Nice rig BTW! I run BF Goodrich KO2s and they are amazing in sand, rock and mud. I haven't had a chance to take my rig to the snow yet so I'm looking forward to that. Thanks for showing us your results, I usually fill premium.

As of today, the gas is 210 right now in Metro Vancouver. Disgusting.

I go to the same gas station while the wife is shopping at superstore. I got a 2022 pro. We should meet up and get the video going with our pros.

Hi. I had my 2023 4Runner for about 1.5 years now. Do you know how I can check how what is the Avg fuel economy since i got the car? "After refuel" only shows since last refuel so what do I change it to ?

I drive a turbo 2 litre and premium definitely is better for $to KM but only if Im on a long highway trip. In the city it is not cost effective to run on 92 so then its 87. Like you I live in metro Vancouver however I do benefit by living within 1 KM from USA so price between reg and premium is not that different.

Yea about 18 to 19 mpg closer to 20 now that it has gotten warmer

I got 2023 4runner, lives in vancouver. My full tank is only about 450km while youre’s ranging 600km. How’s that posible?😅😅

My commute everyday to work is mostly highway 80% highway 60km round trip. I got close to 700km on a tank when I drove to Hell's gate.

Fuel Economy is going to be the same since the energy content is the same regardless if the octane rating is 91, 95 or 98. Plus your test is not all that accurate since the conditions are constantly changing. Traffic, weather, road surface

Thought I tried both regular and premium in case someone wanted to know. And the conditions I drive in compared to the posted fuel economy that the 4runner gets by Toyota.

For an engine that's turbo charged or high compression it will make more HP with premium allowing the computer to advance ignition timing. An engine will make less power on regular gas due to pre ignition and detonation where the computer will retard ignition timing to protect the engine. The 4runner is by no means a high compression engine somewhere around 10.5:1 so it'll probably make the same amount of power on regular gas than on premium since it can advance ignition timing safely on regular gas. I think 11:1 would be considered a high compression I might be wrong.
