Samuel Adams was one of the first craft beer brands in the United States when it was launched in 1984. The number of craft brewers have grown near 500% compared to that 20 years ago. Around 6,266 craft breweries were in operation in 2017.

Sam Adams Cream Stout was seasonal and hard to find but one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Still search for it sometimes.

Toured the Sam Adam’s Boston brewery in 2010. It was a lot of fun and introspective

I hope we're in the golden age of craft beers, nice to see small businesses open up with their blends with good crowds in them. I still like the production stuff in bottles when I'm at home (wheat ales) but on outings with friends, these local breweries are nice especially if they're gastro-pubs.

Sam Adams is the only the big company beer I drink but if I can get better beer I get it but I like Sam Adams.
