Secretariat was and is the greatest horse. The belmont race was jawdropping, it takes your breath away. We will never see the likes of that again.

Anything that comes to this world that is perfection should become a legend and legends tend to stay in our hearts forever. Even if it’s a bad legend, you don’t forget it, but it doesn’t stay in your heart with any warmth. I guess I’m trying to say that some legends are infamous, some killers. And some legends lift you up, and they are famous for their goodness like secretariat. When they have the ceremony in 2073, which I won’t be alive for, I imagine there will be pandemonium.

His time in The Belmont was great. But it's his MARGIN of winning that is astronimical! 31 Lengths! Ive always believed if that course was even longer, that there would have been an even wider margin. Because he was just kept going faster.

@jibv4867 That Horse was Beautiful and Fast! Many horses never raced, it is kind of like the Olympics! Best of those who compete! Not the fastest in the world, fastest in that race and yes the other two races!❤❤😎✌
