Also be really careful what advise you listen to. Satan is the ruler of this world and the majority of the marriage stuff out there is designed to rip marriages apart. Follow the Bible and be humble. And that's not because you are a woman it is because we are all called to be that way so this applies to men also. I don't know if she is going to talk about it in this sermon but if our marriage is struggling we should probably be checking our relationship with God as well. If we're just living off of John 3:16 and saying I can do whatever I want now then we're not reading the whole scriptures and we probably need to get things right while there's still time to do it.

It is easy to misinterpret a verse out of context. It is important to remember that this verse (1 Timothy 2:12) was written in a specific historical and cultural context where social and religious roles were very different from those of today. This is why women could not teach since they were not educated and therefore risked saying heresies. We see the important role women have in the Bible and the important role Jesus gives them. Your mother never taught you about the Lord when you were growing up and if she did, do you think it was not the Lords doing instead of your mothers I tell you, the Lord doesn’t care who he uses to preach his gospel, or his good news he use Mary Magdalene to help Matthew when he was in times of need and I also believe that he allowed her to use her testimony of Jesus, casting out her demons to spread his word and his doings if that is in some form of preaching or teaching and I don’t know what is

Taught me the truth …Women teach based on what their gut feelings are not what their conscious tells them…Men can not just shew you women away because you’re teaching His ways in a different manner of course, but at the same time He will tell those ones that He never knew them..Women are quick to tell others of their wrong doings but yet won’t change their own ways..Example: women will not appear as Christ followers but only speak of Him…but when we men or women address this you are quick to say “ He only wants your heart”…so it shows , about Mary Magdalene and seems that He could find no man so he used women…does not mean women should be pastors…1 Timothy 2:11

That first answer was really good! I will also say spend lots of time reading the word and you will find a very consistent theme of working and not being lazy. Marriage is often related to our relationship with God so a lot of the things that we do in one we do in the other. The Bible says to redeem the time for the days are evil. There is a parable of the man with the talents and that is talking about God giving us gifts and giving us salvation and giving us work to do for his kingdom and the evil servant Berry's the money and gives it back to him without making any profit but the profitable servants work hard and make a profit from the money. If we are being lazy and not doing the work God has given us then we are not living for God and it will not be a good situation here or in the next life
