Many have been lead to believe that to love someone you must encourage them in their behaviors and attitudes. No! That is the opposite of love. Encouraging people in their sin is the most hateful thing you can do.

If you are talking to someone with anorexia, and you tell them they're fat, they'll feel bad. If you're talking to a transgender person and you affirm them, how do they feel? All the transgender people I know would say "better". Doesn't mean it's correct, but if it leads to happier well adjusted people, I will continue to do it.

I don’t know, Friend. I don’t think I would say that most transgender people are well adjusted or happy.

@@jesusrocks256I will agree with this point, a lot of them seem to have some mental health problems. Nailing down the cause is tricky, though. If treating them like the gender they feel like improves or completely relieves them of their mental health struggles, doesn't that suggest that it's a good treatment?

It does not improve or completely relieve them of their pain. It only exacerbates their delusion and thus their suffering. @@bitcoinweasel9274
