Maggie talked about how common it is for kids to have a preference for one parent over the other. It can also be pretty impractical at times!

I pour words of appreciation and I’m more fun than the dad. But still always my 4 year old prefers dad. And he literally rejects me. He cries continuously till his dad shows up and I’m right in front of him. It can go up to 30 mins or more too.
