My friend, you are sadly mistaken about Catholicism. If Catholicism isn't true Christianity, then Christianity simply doesn't exist. It is truly mind-boggling that Protestants believe that Jesus would come to the earth, live a perfect life, pay the price of our sins, rise again, give the apostles the commandment to share the gospel with the whole world, and then say that those people who believed aren't real Christians (for 1500 years!) because they believed in Peter being the leader of the church, which the book of Acts makes extremely clear. First off, no practicing, genuine, devout Catholic is going to deny that salvation only comes from our Lord Jesus Christ, who, by His sacrificial death and resurrection, paid the price in full for our sins. That is the core of our faith. When you hear someone say that salvation comes from Mary, we are saying salvation as another word for Jesus, because Mary is Jesus's mother. Mary is the queen of Heaven because in olden times (when the Bible was written), the queen was not the wife of the king, but the king's mother. Mary is the mother of Jesus, who is king, and also God, so Mary is the mother of God. It's not idolatry at all, it's simply Biblical and factual. Secondly, we do not worship the saints. We look at their lives as an example for ours, and we ask the saints in Heaven to pray for us, which can be seen in the book of Revelation 6:9-11. The word pray literally means to ask, not to worship. Worship is for God alone. Hosea 12:4 shows communication with and summoning of an angel, Luke 16:24 shows the rich man talking to a saint while he was in HELL, and even Jesus talked to dead Lazarus in John 10:43. If Jesus did it, there's no way it was a sin. As for the Pope, I don't know if you are disappointed about Pope Francis, or the office of the Pope. Nonetheless, Matthew 16:18-19 is where Jesus gives Peter the keys to the kingdom, and the ability to bind and loose on earth and in Heaven. The early church (meaning literally every Christian up until Martin Luther) understood that this meant that Peter had authority in the church, which was passed on to the next bishop of the church he established (the church in Rome). If you wanted to be Eastern Orthodox, they do not believe in the primacy of the Bishop of Rome, but even they have their own bishops and enforcement of rules. And they believe in praying to saints and loving Mary and all the things Protestants hate. As to sharing the Gospel, you didn't even cover the Gospel in the video, which is not only extremely hypocritical, but a dereliction of duty for anyone who calls themselves a Christian. So I'll do it for you. In the garden of Eden, man sinned, causing separation between God and the human race, and breaking the once perfect communion. For many years, God would accept animal sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins, but, as Isaiah 1 says, He was not pleased with that. So about 2,000 years ago, God became human flesh. And that human was Jesus Christ, fully God, fully man. Born of a virgin birth, He lived a perfect life, fully obeying God and never sinning. After He had completed three years of ministry, He suffered death at the hands of the Jewish leaders, and at the hand of God. On the cross, Jesus bore our sins, and paid the price we should've paid. He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. This means that there is salvation for anyone who repent of their sins, be baptized, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That means faith AND works, which James 2 is very clear about. After resurrection, He then gave His disciples the commandment to go preach the Gospel to all nations, which they did. Peter was the leader of the disciples, and his leadership authority was passed onto the next bishop of Rome (the church he started), and onto Linus, and it has continued to Pope Francis. So the church that Jesus recognized as His is the Roman Catholic Church, since only they have recognized the Bishop of Rome's God-given leadership. So someone who wants to be a part of Jesus's church should join the Catholic Church. The word catholic means universal, referring to Christ's command to share the Gospel everywhere. Look at every country, look at every land. Chances are, you're gonna find the Catholics in the area. That's because they're followed exactly what Jesus told them specifically (by apostolic succession) to do. Catholics are the real Christians, and you should become Catholic if you want to follow Jesus. HI there, 1) I understand what you were trying to say with "salvation comes from Mary" bit but to a non-believer of any religion this may not be understood properly. They might literally take it as salvation comes from Mary, so be careful there. If Jesus is God and Mary is the mother of God, then by your explanation, Mary is slightly above God, simply because she is the Mother? also do you mean that she is the mother of Jesus or The Father? If she is above Jesus... then by your explanation... she is... god? I respect and admire Mary, to think of being a virgin and pregnant during those times and having your own soon to be husband embarrassed to marry you because you are already pregnant... I knew she must have been a God fearing young lady. its biblical that she even knew she needed a savior.. Luke 1:47. 2) I read Rev 6:9-11... it literally is talking about the saints who have been killed for their faith. The Lamb... Jesus... opened up the 5th seal and saw their souls and they cried out to HIM to avenge their lost lives. The lamb tells them that more people will die first like they did then they will be avenge. So Im still not sure where this verse ties into they can pray for us, when it shows they were considered about their own blood being avenged. It not wrong to want to be living as a saint or holy, we are to live that actually. The main problem with this whole asking things of saints instead of God, is that in the OT, God continually shows us that He wants people to come to HIM!! over and over! The Lords prayer, Jesus did not pray to a saint... nor to Mary but to the Father. 3) if you would at Rev 13: 1-9 (mainly 7-8) explains that their will be ONE "god" being worshipped. Everyone not found in the book of Life, will be worshipping this beast. Revelation speaks of a one religion that will be of "all kindreds, and tongues and nations". If you literally look at what the Pope is doing right now, he is working towards unifying different religions into one. where many people of different religions can come together. Now if you remember, one of Gods name is Jealous. 4) As someone who went out looking for the answer to "how to share the gospel with a RC?" I got the answer. I already know the gospel... just need a hint at how to effectively share the gospel with a RC. 5) Glad to know you do know that gospel and thanks for sharing it! This is where we differ though, works are vital, I can't be a true christian without works. James 2 is correct, faith without works is dead. We dont get saved just to be saved. We get saved to work out the will of God and to love and help and spread the gospel YES! But those works no matter how great do not save me. Ephesians 2:8-9. When we get to heaven and we talk we will not be up there saying "well i gave this much money, and clothed this many people, and did alll these things"... Jesus did the ultimate work, dying on the cross, I just had to follow Him. 6) 1 Peter 2:4-8. Peter says Jesus is the Rock. Its as simple as who is the real boss here... Jesus or Peter? Peter as awesome and great and admirable he is, he did not die for my sins. Jesus did. Peter followed Jesus. If I want to follow Jesus, why follow the pope who followed the pope before him who followed the pope before him etc etc all the way to following Peter. Why can I just follow Jesus? Jesus says to Follow Him, he tells us to come to Him al who weary. 7) When Jesus comes back He will collect His Bride, His church, not the branded Catholic church. His church. also not the branded protestant church. People can be in all sorts of churches and still be lost.. 8) The real issue isn't the RC vs PST. Its you vs sin. me vs sin. Jesus states that you must be born again to enter heaven. God is a jealous God, works are vital but dont give us salvation. Jesus Himself said He is the Way, The Truth and The Life. No one comes to the Father except THROUGH HIM. Repent and put your trust in Jesus alone. 9) May the Holy Spirit direct you and teach you His way.

Faith and works does not equal salvation, faith=salvation (+works). The Bible says “They will recognize you by your fruit. A born again follower of Christ will undergo a transformation by the Lord, that will change what they desire and what they wish to do moving forward. It’s one thing to “know” you should give freely that which God has given you, whether that’s money or your time volunteering. It is another thing to want to do so. God changes what you want so that it longer is a religious routine that you do in spite of not desiring to do so. He changes you to want to do so. So the fruit of a follower is that he loves to do what pleases the Lord, not just doing it. If it was faith AND works, it would be terrible news because we sinners can NEVER reach God’s perfect standard. That is why it is by FAITH alone, by God’s Grace we are saved. To your point of Mary, why is there a need for her to be the mediator between us and the Lord? Why is there a need for her to be a part of a follower’s walk with Christ? She was a sinner just like all of us. Why would a sinner be a mediator between us and a perfect God? Jesus is the ONLY mediator, fully man and fully God, the Jesus says in the Bible “No one gets to the Father except through me.” I don’t wish to say this to say “you’re so wrong, why would you believe this” I say this out of love and would encourage you to truly read the Word. God bless
