When working on my swing, I have learned to rest the front foot on balls of the feet. When is want swing drop the heel down, then turn the back leg. I preload with a hip twist and, both feet/legs are in an already open position. The stance is Jeff Bagwell wide opened

great ideas. I like the split stance on the tee. I'll try this with the kids. one thing i do own my own to build that core strength is use the spider arm cable machine. set it about waist level and stand enough away from the pulley where you actually have to pull it out. Lock your arms out and twist. Then switch stance. Then I'll change the angles from high to low - I feel the lowering degree setting helps with launch. Essentially, a cable chop from varying degrees but with your arms locked out so you're putting more focus on your core. great for baseball and golf.

Bro, you are so on the money with this. I hate when dudes try and teach thescissor move, makes absolutely no sense to teach that as a primaryHitting move. It’s a result of balance shift after the swing has already happened. So glad to hear you say this. Also, Great post and information with the gas leg and brake leg. Huge Dylan Crews fan.

Just a thought, with the big front leg stride, and the compensation tactic to "sink" to get "back on time", changes the eyes plane of sight... IMO- keeping eyes on a single level plane increases the contact... If you can sink that back leg and keep eyes on the same plane- thats good- widen stance decrease stride- keeping eyes on plane... how much does a short-non-stride vs. high leg-long stride effect swing velocity? What about contact consistency? How about incorrect timing- fooled- on off speed? I am seeing late in the season pitchers are using outside part of the plate a lot more often than inside half- makes sense- early I the season they are getting jammed and later in the season they are catching up on the inside half. hard to preach an inside out swing early in the season- but as the season goes on, I would definitely switch to an inside out swing- and the pitchers are throwing a lot more breaking/off speed pitches later in the season- unless they throw 95+... just my thoughts! Peace! Enjoyed the video, get some Knee pads for the demonstrator!! LOL!

Dylan crews is listed at 6 feet even, but I think it’s closer to what you said. They have Wyatt Langford at 6, 1” and he doesn’t look a shade over 5’11”. Alex Bergman at 6 feet even lol, what a joke. I think the heights are wrong and they are lying about it for some reason
