Great to see you back homie! And yes it should be everyone’s most anticipated. Once the casuals see how hard Shadows story goes, translated in an epic way for the big screen.. it’ll be a hit. This movie is gonna really cause a shift in the blockbuster genre I sense. After this, I’m calling that studios will start greenlighting cross over gaming franchises. I’m predicting smash bros the movie to be announced before 2027. And this movie will be a huge tip in that direction! Wild thoughts but with the mcu and superhero’s falling flat, gaming adaptations are the next big wave in Hollywood!

Dude for real!! It’s surreal that Sonic. The. Freaking. Hedgehog caused a shift in Hollywood! It goes to show when you treat the source material with care and reward the fans for staying the course, great things happen! I hope Sonic 3 DESTROYS the box office in December!

I’ve said the same thing for YEARS. If we can get a Sonic X Shadow Generations update, then we can certainly get a remaster of the best Sonic games ever!

Good to know I'm not the only one who loves both Tom and Maddie Wachowski. I'd say instead of taking a back seat again, the couple should actually be apart of the SA2 inspired plot. Let them fight alongside Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, please?

I don’t dislike the idea of Tom and Maddie helping in the fight of Sonic 3, it would just have to make sense with the story. Especially if they embrace more of the otherworldly stuff from SA2. It’s hard to picture Tom and Maddie fighting against the Biolizard (just for reference) alongside Sonic and Shadow 😂

Dude! I’m so excited for Sonic 3! I’ve so enjoyed the first 2 even though there’s far too much reliance on Human characters. Shadow is a character I’m not super familiar with. The last Sonic game I played for hours on end was Sonic 2 on Sega Genesis (I’m old). But you’ve got me hyped to see what they can do with him on the big screen. Great video as always!

I’m really hoping Sonic 3 goes all in on the spectacle! And yeah man, Shadow is actually a REALLY interesting character. If you ever have the time, check out “Project Shadow”. It’s a foreign fan film that explains his backstory VERY well!

Maria's death is all but certain to happen. So probably no issues there. Super Sonic and Super Shadow have to happen. In fact, I'd say that failure to do these two things is not an option. Here's something else that should happen. Shadow should remove his limiters in his Super form at some point, but not right when he turns Super. I know this is a bit different from the games in terms of how things happened, but it would be absolutely badass if those limiters came off, and we heard 'Live and Learn' right then and there.

@@TheCosmicBroadcast And here's the thing. This could conceivably happen in the movie. There have been an awful lot of references to Sonic X already in the movies. This is the one reference that literally everybody would want to see. And here's why. In the original Sonic X, the dub removed this song from that scene. In the Japanese version, they played Live and Learn when Shadow removed his limiters. Having this happen in the movie would just be the perfect way to do the big finale. And that's regardless of what they're fighting when it happens. Find an excuse to do this, and you'll have everyone in the theater cheering.

Speaking of Maria, if there's one thing that'd be pretty surprising to see that would deviate from the source material is seeing her *parents.* Though... I honestly wouldn't mind that idea. After all, we don't know much about the entire Robotnik family?

Now that said, I have my suspicions as to who she could be a parallel to, and if I'm right we might still get Rouge. If any Sonic characters besides Shadow are introduced in this movie, I have a hunch we won't even know who's voicing them until the trailer comes out.

Great video. As a very casual Sonic fan i know of some of these things loke adding more of the characters, Super Sonic. Shadow being the Vegeta to Sonic Goku. So im down for it to be more like the games if it can create a more exciting experience.if maybe the human characters turn animated when they switch over to Sonics world maybe that how they can keep them?

Love the video. Gotta say I actually like the human stuff in these movies though. Grounds them and makes them more relatable to me. I even loved the bridezilla stuff in 2. I would love to see more characters from the games come in though and that only works if you dive more into that world and away from the human stuff unfortunately. Regardless, I expect to have a great time with this movie!

That’s the unfortunate part is you can only fit so much into a 2 hour movie! So yeah if I had to choose I’d 100% focus on the sonic characters in the 3rd movie. But I’ll ALWAYS make room for some more Jim Carrey 😉

AMAZING EDITING Jonah! I agree with alot of your wishlist for this next movie. Let's go bunkers! I don't know why, but I would have loved to have Super Sonic & Super Shadow against Chaos instead of the lizard haha. But a must is the SONIC MUSIC!!! It is CRIMINAL how they used so little of a library of amazing music and soundtracks. Great video Jonah and December can't come sooner!

Agreed. Kid Cudi’s track for the Sonic 2 credits was pretty dope, but it will NEVER be as good as the early to mid 2000’s rock anthems. I’m ready for a musical overhaul in the 3rd Sonic movie!

@@TheCosmicBroadcast I know there are objectively better sonic games out there but Shadow The Hedgehog was the one that always clicked with me. I got it as a kid and I think the whole atmosphere and vibe of the game and shadow was exactly what I wanted to play at that age. I still revisit it every now and then. I can’t pin point what I liked the most about it, I just like it :) (I guess I just thought it was pretty bad ass)

Here’s my 2 questions to tell you first I played sonic generations game since back in 2015 it was really cool to play and it’s a amazing and second question we could get a sonic and Garfield crossover movie it’s going to be amazing cus they both a have Olive Garden in the movie and back in the day they combined with sonic games and Garfield games into one disc in pc and it be really cool if Garfield franchise was bought by sega which means he could be a sega character and teamup with the sonic franchise just like other games and merchandise and series and comics everything we could imagine both of them for Garfield to be a sega character and his game called Garfield caught in the act was released in the sega genises and it’s going to be really amazing for Garfield to teamup with sonic characters.
