Yep, anime viewers and manga readers miss a lot. He ends up with Lurk, Ambush, Enemy Detection, Flee (auto dodge when fleeing), Farsight (can see farther ahead), Auto evade, Steal, Lip reading, Snipe, Bind (+Mithril rope), Drain Touch, Backstab (insta-kill non-boss enemies which are hit unaware). Among other stuff (like basic sword mastery, basic and intermediate magic, healing, teleport, and some blinding light magic thing). He is a veritable ninja assassin, haha.

The scariest thing about Kazuma is that since he picked Aqua as his weapon, he *does not* have an isekai cheat skill blessing or weapon to his name. Everything Kazuma accomplishes, he does so purely with the human capabilities he possessed to begin with.

How powerful is Kazuma? His party are a bunch of girlfails as a cosmic level shackle to his capabilities. When they're not holding him back with their ineptitude, Kazuma is a walking force of nature. His party members are powerful enough in their own right that when backed by an army, they can get stuff done. Kazuma can fulfill this role singlehandedly AND keep them focused enough to be useful.

I don't think Kazuma's steal is necessarily affected by his 'perverted nature'. I could be incorrect because I've only watched the anime and maybe it is more explicitly explained later. But the impression I get is that his luck stat steals whatever the target feels is most valuable to them. I believe that if he ran across a woman completely unconcerned with modesty but values some other item as part of their identity that if Kazuma attempted Steal on them, he would come away with that item rather than the undergarments. I think this is demonstrated by the fact that he stole the ring from the Princess.

Even though Kazuma was a NEET, he has managed to develop a lot of friendships and connections. The fight with the Hydra was able to rally the guild members to fight along. He has a growing list of powerful allies ,adventurers, royalty, and former enemies. That can be pretty op in the end game.

I would like to point out that Steal functions by targeting the object the Target believes is most valuable. That's why for most women, it takes their panties, because that is a representation of what is most important to them. Women won't care much about weapons or gear except for if it gets the job done. Men on the other hand tend to care about such things a lot more. Hence his higher success rate against them. His high luck means he usually rolls the highest value item to the target, so of course he gets what he gets. Otherwise, this is a great breakdown of what he knows and can do. Spoiler: This was even showcased in S3, where when he used Steal on the princess, he stole her treasured ring, and not her panties. Because she treasured it even more.

Kazuma's Ideal opponents are Mages, Magical Creatures, Humanoids and Human made [Humans, Demons, Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, Dragonoids, Ghost, Robots, Cyborgs, Golems, Machines, Magical creatures, Undead, Mages] While his least Ideal opponents are Godlike People, Monsters, wild animals and *Women* [Aqua, Vanir, Wiz, *EVERY* (Human) *WOMAN* , Monsters / Wild animals ingeneral] His Ideal terrain is Rough, Lush, Crowded, Man-made and Enclosed spaces [Forests, Jungles, Cities, Towns, Large buildings, Dungeons, Hilly terrain, Valleys, Megumin's Room] While his least Ideal terrain is Wide spaces, Dangerous terrain, and open spaces with no cover overall [Plains, Volcanos, Swamps, Seas, Oceans, Deserts, Tundra plains, Mountains]

His eccentric (he never fights straight up, but does guerrilla warfare type tactics), but effective fighting style and varied Adventurer kit literally caused chaos in the Royal castle…twice. To the point that he gives PTSD to Clair and Rain at this point that they don’t want to anger Kazuma if they can avoid it. The Adventurer class was also HEAVILY underrated in general. Yes it has subpar stat and level cap with no real focus, but you can still learn ANY skill (including rare ones like Drain Touch off a Lich) as long as you have the skill points available to learn them and mana to use them + you level up faster in earlier levels compared to other classes if you don’t go passed the cap. Basically the moment an exploit happen (like say practically infinite skill points + utilizing level reset potions where you still keep the skill points you earned per level) it becomes a broken class. The lack of mana can also be solved with the power of money to hoard high level mana stones. So in the end can utilize stuff like Teleport, golem summon, and even Explosion in the right conditions. Even putting aside the high end magic/skills he learns later…he is very skilled at utilizing even basic elementary magic and other misc skills in unique combinations to give him an edge in battle. The time where Kazuma and Dust switch parties (anime sadly skipped this like a lot of things) Kazuma pretty much showcased how versatile his class can be to Dust’s party utilizing elementary magic, stealth, and sniping to complete their quest completely reversing their expectations of him. He also has genuine good leadership skills. Putting aside the CRAZY level of leadership required to handle Darkness, Aqua, and Megumin in a party (Dust couldn’t handled it at all and wanted to go back to his old party after he and Kazuma switched)…multiple times he lead high level expeditions in Axel with the other adventurers in the guild like the Hydra for example with his plans. YunYun wanted Kazuma to help her in the chief trials (but instead got the 3 girls much to her disappointment.) His only real weakness is just his crappy gear (which is the only REAL downside of Adventurer since lot of the top tier gear are specific class locked.) Aqua herself is literally the only valuable “item” he has besides him able to craft dynamite.

Kazuma is a thief class adventurer as well as high luck means he makes big at Casinos. Even in Vol 10 of the Light Novel, Kazuma goes to the casinos within the royal capital and makes back everything and more than his friends lost.

To put Kazuma in perspective, Ainz from Overlord, (when he crosses over with Kazuma and the konosuba girls in Itsekei Quartete) and Ainz's subordinates all greatly respect Kazuma and Ainz and Kazuma are friends. This is partly due to Kazuma's control over Aqua who can oneshot Ainz and most of his group if she was unleashed upon them, as well as Kazuma not being antagonistic at all with such power behind him and actively looking to be friends and being able to see through, but not getting the full story of Ainz. Although the lighthearted nature of the spinoff probably helps a lot, but the Aqua thing is dead on. And those that Aqua can't oneshot, Kazuma can beat with his abilities so yeah.

i mean kazuma really is a pretty capable person when you pair him with the right group. his skills and smarts make him a top notch fighter it just never really shows when he’s working with aqua, megumin, and darkness. but if u think about it every time they fought those giants toads kazuma was the one to take them down and save the others who were being eaten 🤣 he’s been competent from the start we just never really see it

Kazuma is a beast and of course OP, his luck stat manages to negate the bad luck of the other 3 team members, his adventurer title means none of the skills available to him are class locked and his greatest skill "steal" is subjective to his opponent he steals the greatest item to them i.e. most girls is pantsu, mitsirugi his sword the dullahan his head and Sylvia her heart. He is also a great tactician and knows the time to use each skill he has and knows when to give up "the winter samurai".

Another thing to mention is that kazuma practically has the capability of a small army at any given time. Its explained that megumin, darkness, and aqua have the best classes in the world *however* they only shine in a situation where they can be backed up heavily (typically with a small militia). Kazuma is able to strategize to allow all three of them to shine to their fullest in dire situations while doing considerable work himself (as the weakest class and incredibly low level). The man is a walking army in terms of class support purely from his strategies and niche beginner skills. Ironically the best place this is showcased is their failures against the large frogs. Despite being able to kill literal demon king commanders they can barely clear a herd of beginner level frogs and it is preciesly because of the partys composition being so heavily baked with specialization and the frogs having practically no mind to trick or glaring weakness for kazuma to exploit

Kazuma has a great variety of stealth related skills. And with his high Luck stat, there's nearly a 100% chance that his skills will always succeed. Farsight: Allows him to see great distances and during the night. Enemy Detection: He can detect any hostile creature in the area. Lurk: Reduces the scent and visibility of the user and anyone/anything they touch. Snipe: Increases range and accuracy of arrow shoots. Accuracy is based on Luck. Teleport: He can transport to up to three marked locations. Auto Evade: Allows him to dodge any attack autonomously. Its based on Luck. Deadly Backstab: Instant death attack if he stabs someone in the back. The instant death effect its based on luck. Eavesdrop: He can hear conversations from a distance. Lip reading: He can understand what people is saying from a long distance. Flee: Allows him to run away from enemies at a high speed. Detect and Disarm traps: Two different skills. The names are self explanatory. Steal: Steal a random object from someone. It also relies on Luck.

It's a weird flex but apparently his Rock, Paper, Scissors skills are independent of his Luck... Even before getting Isekai'ed he had this "Natural Superpower" to never lose this one specific game, or at least that's how someone explained it too me... Either way it sounds totally believable for a story Konosuba.
