How Tanzania's new capital Dodoma is changing

In just about 40 years, the city of Dodoma has grown from just a small town in the middle of nowhere to Tanzania’s capital. Tanzania is not the first country to shift its capital. Malawi moved its capital from Zomba to Lilongwe in 1975, while Nigeria effected a similar change from Lagos to Abuja in 1991. I Bertin the Explore went to Dodoma to find out how the city is changing, and what is being done to respond to the increased demand for accommodation.

Tanzania is really on the right path. As an African it make me proud to see a fellow African country doing so well. Dodoma is going to be fully transformed and be ultra modern once the capital is fully moved and operational. Keep bringing us content on Tanzania and more content outside of Dar. Big up

Safi ndugu vipi! Kuna mwendelezo wa ujenzi hapo Magufuli City maana sioni mafundi wala kandarasi wakipishana sipendi kusikia mradi huu umetelekezwa. Hata hivyo nampongeza mama Samia kwa mwendelezo wa miradi mingineyo iliyoasisiwa na Magufuli. Mfano. Bwawa la Umeme, reli ya umeme,daraja la Magufuli,ikulu.nk.

Actually, it is smart do to most of the big construction works before building the standard roads because the roads get damaged during construction, especially with the big vehicles/mechanical plants and you have to re do the surfacing again
