That whole video made my mouth water, but then you hit us with the chile piquins at the end. I can't think of anything more iconic to South Texas food. They grew wild on our property when I was a kid.

Gratifying Arnie to see someone sooo experienced say that corn tortillas aren’t so easy. Sometimes the simplest things aren’t so simple! My butter/flour organic tortillas I make I’m super happy with, but corn..still on the uphill side of the learning curve, but with KZfaq, seeing ppl actually do it in front of you is tremendously helpful..!

Nothing better than an authentic taco! Night and day above the normal boring American taco. Doing a little homework about the whole art of making everything homemade.

I'm so glad to see Arnie saying he isn't getting his tortillas to puff right, I've been failing so much on that as well, but if Arnie is having issues I don't feel so bad.

Arnie. Like the guy said there difference from matamoros to Reynosa. There is a small border town called Nuevo Progreso. Street vendors make “lonches” which is a bisteik taco in a small bolillo and they use cabbage instead of lettuce.

Come on, Arnie. You can make corn tortillas, but if your grill/comal isn't hot enough, they won't "pooch up" like that. That's why Joseph looked at you funny when you said yours don't do that.
