I've had a BFR 45-70 for several years and have fired several thousand rounds through it and it is still as solid as when it left the factory and it is more accurate than I am.

My .454 is amazing. I had to stone it just a bit around the gate but it’s a definite good buy. I know a few people who have had minor issues like this but honestly they are hand built so this is to be expected unless you want to pay another $200 which you are welcome to do, just give the money to your gunsmith. Think of them like pretty high end Ruger single actions but not much more expensive and in some truely neat calibers.

Very impressive engineering, and such a beautiful end result. Seeing all those CNCs reminded me of my first job after leaving school (i swear I could smell cutting oil and coolant while watching this!) I wish I'd been making gorgeous revolvers instead of crappy little non descript microwave parts though haha! Great little vid!

Small piece of advice. Bring a sharpie marker to put a small mark across bullet holes after inspecting them. That way it is easier to find the holes of the most recent once you shoot a single item with 15-20+ rounds.

@@bigchungus7720 Pencil grinders are a great deburring tool if used correctly, the rotation is anti clockwise so you would move the tool from left to right, IF you move from right to left it will cut into the job like a knife through butter.
