Also Kennan Allen who I personally consider a better wr. Got only a fourth rounder. The only downside was we ate his dead cap. But that's because he was cancer in the locker room.

For the Strouds, this was “why not have three very good receivers?” This will not make or break the Strouds. Worst case scenario Diggs becomes a pain and we trade him for a seventh rounder or release him. We risk virtually nothing with this trade.

How is that possible, last offseason everyone was saying: “who’s CJ Stroud gonna throw the ball to, garbage cans?” While the Bills had Diggs, Davis, and Knox and Kincaid as 2 solid TEs (who they obviously still have) not to mention that 3 out of 4 of the receivers Allen threw to are now not on the Bills (Shakir being the only one still there). And the Texans now have Diggs (solid veteran), Nico Collins (decently good), Tank Dell (sensational rookie when not injured), resigned Schultz, and traded for Joe Mixon. All of this while CJ Stroud is popping off. Now explain to me how I’m a casual.

Ive een saying the exact same thing. He and Von Miller were likely gone next season anyway. Yes, you lose Diggs a year early. In doing so, you lose a 31 year old locker room distraction with steeply declining perormance. In exchange, you get a 2nd to fill other holes next year and you are going into what is said to be one o the deepest WR drafts in recent memory with 9 picks in hand.

@@lakeozarkrei3767 yeah you definitely didn't pay attention. Buffalo was going to part ways with him inevitably. So instead of just cutting him and getting nothing... They found someone willing to give them something for him... The 5th and 6th round picks they gave up, well worth the cap relief they get in 2025 and not having to deal with his bull shit anymore.... The longer they held onto him... The lower his value gets. A second round pick for a 30 year old (31 in November) who is on the decline, is more then fair compensation. The chargers got a 4th for Keenan Allen.

If Tom Grossi doesn't have the pulse of the NFL, then nobody does. And this is coming from a Bears fan who HATES the Packers almost as much as the Cowboys. Diggs became disgruntled with the Vikings, now the Bills. How long will he last with the Texans? (yeah, yeah, I know it's toooootally different THIS time. lol As long as the Texans don't develop a running game, they should be fine.

Texans offense is straight from the Shanahan system, which doesn't really target a single player or a matchup necessarily. Between Stroud's willingness to spread the ball around to all his targets and Slowik's scheme, I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a little drama from Diggs towards the end of the season if he isn't getting WR1 targets.

@@Narikvp Yep, even in double coverage, he'll throw a fit if you don't throw him the ball. The Bills already had to take him out every running play because he can't/won't block which made reading their play calls easier than the CPU in Tecmo Super Bowl.

The DeShaun Watson deal keeps giving and giving. The trade with the Vikings to move back was from the DeShaun Watson deal, so by moving back and picking up two second round picks the Texans essentially moved back 19 spots to pick up Stefon Diggs, an extra 5th and 6th, and another 2nd round pick this year. Huh? Have you heard of Ricky Williams or Herschel Walker? Bill O'Brian as a GM? The AJ Brown trade? I think the Bills maybe didn't need to give up both a 5th and a 6th, but consider this: Diggs is 31, and had terrible production these past few games. He hasn't shown up in a playoff game in a LONG time. He's a locker room problem and the cryptic tweets are ridiculous. He let's his brother and everyone else dog on his QB like it's no tomorrow. While this trade looks questionable for now, I think in the long run the Bills will be glad they did it now. Better to trade someone a year early than a year late.

He has Curtis Samuel Khalil shakir and two good tight ends they will more than likely draft a receiver or 2 so I believe he’ll be fine. Buffalo only worry should be secondary and o line next year
