Notice the media can't even get it right, uefa found them guilty. The only reason they got off was due to the statute of limitations on the charges. They got off on a technicality.

@@Supersleuth42 there is actually a whole paper trail of evidence that players and managers where getting overpaid from different companies belonging to city's owners,,its been common knowledge for years..the only reason city managed to walk away was because their was a statute of limitations technicality to make those charges unenforceable...they dragged there feet and stalled (which makes it worse)... really the EPL should lift those time limitations because that's what has allowed all this to continue...

@@epicboim7440 The fact City failed to cooperate was a divisive measure to deliberately slow down the investigation so some of the core charges would 'time out' which is precisely what happened. Fergie, Klopp, Wenger, Mourinho, Clough, Ramsey, Shankly, Busby - I could list another 50 managers whom I regard far better than Pep. You can't deny his style but let's see him do it on a shoe string. A hell of a lucky guy to walk into a Barca sidewith the greatest player (maybe midfield) of all time to inflate his trophy haul. The Times correspondent does not appear to reflect the Times readership, judging by the comments under their articles on this topic today. 90% of the posters have rushed to judgement on the basis of nothing more than allegations at this stage. No question about a fair trial or indeed that City might not be guilty as is illustrated by the overturning of the 2020 UEFA allegations by CAS.

You people are so stupid let me explain too dumb people who don't understand. When Roman left he made Chelsea 1.5 billion debt free so owners have every right to invest in a new company. FFP COVID UK government all most out them out of business because fans couldn't buy anything club had no money. FFP rules that's been used for such a long by other clubs, TODD USA baseball accountants team looked into how they can spend money they come up with long term transfer policy contract so owners can invest in the club so they haven't broken any rules just being very smart with business moves. Law doesn't says after you buy a new business you can't invest in a new company. The rules are changing next season so Chelsea did there business in 2 windows and they'll have to come up with there new transfer policy to keep spending while they adapt to the new rules. Our owners can spend another 300 million with no issues, So please stop crying about Chelsea transfer. In the other hand man city been cheating and hiding everything! 1000% guilty what they've done ✅

Chelsea is a wait and see. Chelsea think they will comply with spending rules by amortising the transfer fees over 8 year contracts (5 years FIFA limit plus 3 year option). This will be limited to 5 years amortisation from summer 2023. Chelsea have to sell to re-balance the books (it will be a buyer's market, nobody will overpay Chelsea). Whether Chelsea qualify for the Champions League 2023/2024 revenue will matter. Nobody else has done it as most clubs do not want to financially commit to 8 year player contracts

If the club has been charged then there is a belief that there is a case to answer. Why is there need for another commision to investigate, this is espeially pertinent if there is a statute of limitations hanging over the charges. Present the charges to the club then allow them to come back with there version of the case and then rule. The fact that they have been charged with not cooperating is telling too, it is either they have something to hide or relying on the statute of liitations to take effect.
