I’ve dubbed it the “jerk off” minnow. I was at Guntersville last week and saw 10 boats within 50 yards of each other at the front of Browns Creek. Every single person was on the front of their boat, with their head straight down, shaking their hand 👋👋….if you saw them at a glance, you’d think they were all doing something else 🤣🤣

Good show. Enjoyed it. The streakz is my personal fav for its versatility. I tend to use it most as a walking bait. Weightless on a small ewg with a spinning rod working it like a jerk bait. Last time I used it they were knocking it clean out the water all day long. So much fun.

Mark I agree with you on super glue on Elaztech baits . I take off the keeper barb off jig heads and glue . Without a keeper you can take off the bait multiple times to get it rigged perfectly! Reins makes a wacky jig head that’s straight and makes a perfect ned rig head . It has no keeper because it was designed for weighted wacky fishing. Goes on super easy on the Elaztech baits .

I’ve been taking a zoom fluke and putting a lead nail weight in the belly for 40 years . We called it dead flunking . It sinks horizontally like your mid strolling technique. It’s just the FFS that’s made it so popular right now .

Some people, even to avoid the superglue, will tie the hook on AFTER they take the bait and run it up over the hook eye with those zman plastics. The get just a tiny little bit of it on up over the hook eye then tie the jig on.
