Biggest problem was that the Empire didn’t teach cooperation and encourage unhealthy competition. If they had changed that, the post Endor period would’ve been more united.

Because they said it was for the good of the Empire. As was said in LOST STARS they have to forgo all attachments including loyalty to friends and give it only to the Empire. Encouraging cooperation would promote loyalty to friends and not to only the Empire.

Interesting to see how the flight school wasn’t stationary and could be on star destroyers. Sounds like a great way to train recruits, they could travel to different worlds via star destroyer and train in different environments

When you say conscripted, do you mean that in its true sense (drafted)? Because I have heard people erroneously use it as a synonym for voluntary enlistment (case in point, Bad Batch season 1).

Yes there was conscription for non-clones. The Bad Batch was talking about forcing clones into experimentation whilst already in the service of the Empire.
