"This is, I agree, compulsory viewing. This is the first documentary about the corruption of war by propaganda which serves to progress the argument beyond the usual hysteria. Pilger has, with this film, moved away from the slew of similar-themed documentaries which add little to the debate but more circular arguments. Instead, Pilger goes straight for admissions of guilt. He manages to get some truly frank disclosures of global conspiracy and madness from the most relevant people he could realistically get access to, and for this he deserves the praise.
It can be argued, and it will be no doubt, that there is very little material to act as a counterweight to his position in the film. But after you finish watching it, you will hopefully realise what a stupid criticism it is to make in the first place, considering what this documentary is designed to rally against.
I won't get into the moral position it presents, as that's up to you in the end, but I'd be hard pushed to find anybody not moved, repulsed or outraged by this film, or all of those things simultaneously. Just watch it. Do it now."

The public has been mesmerized by media. If there is one thing I'd like to see happen, it's growing awareness of how media has become corrupt and how it's relayed a corrupt government message regarding three of the major issues of the day: covid, our intentionally porous Southern border, and the risky and needless proxy war against nuclear Russia. There's obviously much more to the picture (such as how we became stuck with Joe Biden/Kamala Harris), and it can be understood simply by questioning everything we're being told while applying logic and seeking out the truth-tellers.

We have the power to solve this issue. Simply by rejecting the monetary system entirely and permanently. Basically, change the incentive to change the behavior that results. This is the world we get when money is the primary incentive. Haven't we figured that out yet??? Reject money, adopt a resource based economy instead. 70% of the world opium comes from the Middle East. They went in to take the opium fields under control to send it back to pharmaceutical companies Purdue pharma to release the 100 billion dollar plan of OxyContin. As soon as the fields were controlled the OxyContin crisis blew up. No other opiate drug had thst big of a supply readily available. The company is higher up than the government and is one of the top 3 biggest contributors of money. The FDA wouldn’t release an ok on oxy so they kidnapped the fda guy and he was “on vacation “ in a hotel for a WEEK. When he was released he mysteriously changed his mind and said it was ok to release and was not addictive. Now notice once we left afgistsn we moved on the fentanyl???????? Morphine is needed and is a byproduct of heroin so WE NEED IT, drs in surgery , war medics need morphine. So bottom line we will be in war for it forever

The indoctrination of American exceptionalism, and the false religion of “freedom” runs deep. Conversations with friends and family on topics, like these never end well in my experience, except for the few that have already started to awaken themselves. One trick I do that is to send links to adjacent content that they may be interested in that starts to populate their algorithms with more videos like this. Perhaps a more lighthearted video on propaganda or globalist agenda.

A distinction needs to be made between an authoritarian and warlike government concocting a false pretext for war and young men being fooled into believing the propaganda and risking their lives for what they wrongly believe to be a just cause. Great points, Desiredbalance. I've always said that it's for a reason Trump has been attacked 24/7 for years. The reason wasn't because he was evil, but because he was telling the truth about the war-mongers and psychopaths orchestrating the wars and the news about the wars. The military/industrial war complex wasn't about to allow a 'blowhard' businessman to sully their game. This is why Trump is being threatened with prison as he's accused of the ''crime'' of questioning the 2020 election. The last few years have been a textbook example of media transformed into almost continuous propaganda. Covid day-in and day-out, complete with inflated numbers and, of course, thick doses of fear. Sadly, much of the public have believed the propaganda with which our media have pummeled the public. I'm hoping more are learning they're been gamed and thus can sidestep the media onslaught by means of awareness.

They will say anything to pull at your heartstrings… that’s partially what this whole doc is about. I don’t support any politicians except on the local level. I would like to see a network news program that not just mentions but features retractions. Admit when you were wrong. The more prestigious the outlet the less they seem to focus on accuracy. Sensationalism is the game. Retractions should be more important. So often they begin stories printing the names of who got a speeding ticket last week but failing to report that the officer that issued it lied about his radar readout. Things like that happen all the time. Finish what you start or don't start.
