The iPhone is literally changing the way I make films and tell stories. And now by adding some accessories and software, I'm taking phone videos to the next level. I'm super excited and inspired these days creating with the iPhone and feel like it's making me a better cinematographer and filmmaker. Please make a video on..... 1 - what Setting in iphone to shoot video. 2- How to edit those video and how to render final video for uploading in KZfaq 3- Please show at what size you are uploading video and if you compressing the video please show how and what size you convert the video for upload .

Just got the iPhone 15 and the PolarPro gear - when searching for a camera app I was dissapointed qucikly why would I pay a weekly fee just to use a camera app? But the app store is full of these money ripping camera apps that basically are only made to drain your pockets. So glad I found your video and that Blackmagic came around the corner to save the day (thank you very much for bringing that up in the video).

I have this exact case and VND filter as well. One thing I don’t like is that the back mic gets covered by the filters making the audio sound like crap.

Ohh didn’t know about the audio! Maybe there’s an on-camera mic available?

@@davidgodi Yea I use an external mic for when I need to capture audio but it would be nice not to have to use it sometimes. It’s annoying to have to add to the phone especially when you want a really clean setup. You should try recording the audio with the VND on and then off and hear the difference. It’s really noticeable.

Sold my Blackmagic 6K Pro and lenses for an iPhone 15 Pro max with the BM app and Freewell VND. Ive never looked back. Masdive screen, near all-day battery and the log footage is terrific. I purchased the Hollyland Lark 2 mics to take care of the audio side.

Awesome video! What is astounding is that no other camera company has anything close to the feature set that Apple offers in such a sleek form factor. At the rate the iPhone cameras are improving I wouldn't be surprised if it also surpasses the image quality of 'pro' cameras pretty soon.

Very helpfull video mate thanks for it. I have an iPhone 15 Pro, do you think it has the same filmmaking capability in comparison with Pro Max model ? Should I buy a beginner video camera or should I just move on with a kit like yours ? Thanks in advance and hope you'll be given chance to help a lot more people with ur yt content!

Thanks man! I think you can get very far with an Iphone to begin with. It really just depends on how fast you want to upgrade to a more “professional” camera. Storytelling is always king, and you start doing that with only a phone! ☺️

I also have an iphone 15 pro max and use black magic app. but I experience a little friction in making the footages usable. I'll still need to learn how to properly color grade or use LUTs to make them look cinematic or just usable in general. I also plan to get instaflow because a few footage still comes out shakey despite having the stabilization on in black magic app. Sometimes I wondered if i should have just filmed in the native apple camera app in cinematic and turn on action mode, and would have gotten the same satisfaction than going through hoops for black magic app footages. I got the LiteChaser case in the desert color, including the modular grip. Sadly, they no longer accept Moment lenses.

What screen monitor is that in the background? Looks like the Apple studio display. If so - is it worth the price? Was hoping they’d release a new studio display soon that is 120hz.

It’s the Apple studio display! You can definitely get a just as good monitor for cheaper, but I love the design and the apple ecosystem, so to me it’s worth it!

@@davidgodiMaybe (just maybe) a small battery will fit. Maybe is better to don’t use a nd filter (this will improve stabilisation) and add motion blur in post with some plugin

Xperia has very questionable video quality. I'm particularly interested in Xperia and I watched so many reviews, however the video quality is again, another let down..
