I have a question. When one gains back the power to re-dream the world around him / one's destiny, is that done deliberately? Or we allow it to be re-dreamed as the Supreme Intelligence sees fit? I guess what I'm trying to get at is if when Shunya uses the word 'Power', he means power to manifest our dreams by deliberate, albeit wise, use of this power of if we give it all up to God to do the re-dreaming. Shunyamurti's reply: The question is based on a misunderstanding: The power to re-dream the world belongs exclusively to the unmanifest Supreme Intelligence. But every individual consciousness is a manifestation of that Absolute Self. The Self, which is Total Presence, is coextensive with the cosmos and pervades all that arises within it. The Self and the world are in a paradoxical relationship of nonduality. Self-realization, therefore, is absorption in the intensity of Total Presence. The individual identity disappears in the Infinite Consciousness, the Dreamer of all worlds.

i think i finally understand what you mean by the world being holographic now. the world is sparsely populated by bundles of information, and its our mind that makes a whole-image. maybe death wouldnt be so scary if we could see ourselves as mostly empty space.

Shunyamurti is right about this world being a dream. Now the question becomes "how badly do you want to awaken?" He's also right about there being no world. There is just your body. I still can't get complete control over it. My body has a drive or drives of which I am unaware.

Imagination is being concretised in the process of explaining "imagination is not real". Instead of talking about imagination etc etc etc .... "why don't you remain quiet ?" "Why can't you be a very simple worker(like a gardener !) and remain quiet ?" "Why do you want to retain your ego in tact and still want to become something, at sometime, somewhere?" "Why can't you disown ego now and here and remain like any other creature in this universe?" "Why do you imagine too much about yourself and keep analysing that which is very much false?" "Oh human beings...Does it not look funny to you?!?!?"

The more you try to control, the more you "solidify" the idea that there is a body. In reality, there isn't 🕊️ There is only the One mind in which all these ideas / drives arise, and the more you attach to them or try to control them, the more they return as reified experiences 🙂

@@daniloferrari2809 The one mind is MINE. You don't even exist. I understand what you mean about reification, but my trying to control isn't the cause of it. Things like getting cold, getting hungry, getting tired, etc are all undesired and involuntary yet they do plenty to reify the belief in a body.

There is no constitutive distinction between the so-called dream state of consciousness and the so-called waking state of consciousness (there is only a normative distinction here, that is to say, not a distinction in substance, but only a distinction in words, in language, or, as Berkeley wrote, in his Treatise Concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge, a distinction arising “by the abuse of words, and general ways of speech wherein they are delivered”), since each are equally simply just consciousness in a state of activity qua consciousness in a state of activity: both, the so-called dream state and the so-called waking state, that is, amount only to consciousness interacting with its own Vorstellungen (in Kant’s terms). What is “Māyā”? Māyā, in a word, arises when consciousness tells itself that its Vorstellungen (what Hume called impressions) are mind-independent things-in-themselves, that continue to exist when no longer perceived. The objects that I perceive (e.g., houses, mountains, or rivers), are not at all mind-independent things-in-themselves - they are only the representations (namely, the Vorstellungen) of consciousness, such that, consciousness, ultimately, is ouroboric (consciousness is such that it can only ever possibly interact with or know itself, invariably, necessarily, and in fact, such that, as goes the Upanishadic saying, that thou art). What is consciousness? Consciousness is the ouroboric I, Brahman: the self that apprehends itself. What is Māyā? Māyā is the self-deception that consciousness renders when it hypostatizes its own Vorstellungen, treating them as if they were mind-independent things-in-themselves. As wrote Kant: “we hypostatise outer appearances … [when we] come to regard them not as representations but as things existing by themselves outside us, with the same quality as that with which they exist in us”. Ultimately (deceive oneself by means of Māyā or no): that thou art.

One hour into dawn now and still furious, but not enough to go outdoors and do anything productive about it. Forcing myself to get tired by pacing and now eating instead. Pursuing the worldly comfort of sleep instead of having the courage and conviction to do what is right.

I Love Shunya - his message is consistent because Truth never deviates from itself. Even Spiritual People have a hard time understanding that any judgement the ego makes is a projection and collapses the Quantum Wave in to a particle that is then experienced as Reality. When we get this, we begin to understand the profundity of the power at our disposal and that our creator has bestowed upon us. This realisation is Truly Breath-taking and the most Glorious of all Truths - that by our convictions, we shall be justified.

It's easy to understand what Shunyamurti is saying in this video. YOURS is THE ONLY INTELLIGENCE. Here's how easy it is to know this: just go talk to your parents, your spouse, your friends, etc, and ask them if they know anything. You will discover that they don't know anything. You will discover that they have no intelligence.

Hello Shunyamurti, I respectfully disagree with this notion that the world is imagined or a dream. I don't think detracting from the inertia, immovability and relative (not objective) immutability of gravity (AKA gravitative-dielectricity) is a good idea. It would be wiser to embrace (almost) everything rathee than dismiss it as unworthy or somehow unqualified as be-ing real.
